Historia
Most of us have no idea what's really going on inside our heads. Yet brain scientists have uncovered details every business leader, parent, and teacher should know - such as the brain's need for physical activity to work at its best. How do we learn? What exactly do sleep and stress do to our brains? Why is multi-tasking a myth? Why is it so easy to forget - and so important to repeat new information? Is it true that men and women have different brains?

Revisado: 11-22-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Brain Rules to be better than the print version?
I am dyslexic and mostly listen to audio books, so I would say yes
What did you like best about this story?
I thought the whole book was a good reminder about how to take care of your brain and the great capability of the human brain to heal itself. Exercise is especially suggested.(hmmm...better get back to working out again.)
What about John J. Medina’s performance did you like?
I thought he had a good tone of voice that was easy to listen to and kept me interested.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
EXERCISE is the most effective way to take care of your brain and prevent disease and atrophy

Historia
A piano prodigy, a nineteen-year-old college grad, a Marshall scholar, and an American Idol finalist: This guy had it made. What couldn’t he do? Even if you saw him in concert, you might not believe that Scott MacIntyre was blind, and you’d never guess that at 19, he faced a diagnosis that rocked his family and nearly took his life. So how did he do it? This is the story of how God used a dedicated family, a selfless acquaintance, hardship, and a host of characters to give him life, faith, determination, and experiences most can only imagine.

Strength in Faith
Revisado: 08-20-12
Where does By Faith, Not By Sight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It can't really compare to other books. This was a spiritual book for me to teach me faith. Other books I read are for other purposes such as entertainment, education, etc...
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character
Which scene was your favorite?
when he said that when he faces something he wants, he focuses totally on that and takes action full force ahead and trusts God
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
no
