Historia
12-year-old Aidan Errolson, comes from a long line of adventurers. His grandparents were among the first settlers of Corenwald's Eastern Frontier. His father had been one of the kingdom's greatest warriors. Aidan, on the other hand, lives the quiet, comfortable life, of a nobleman's son. He never has any real adventures, and that, he believes, is the one great injustice of his otherwise happy life. All that will change the day he first hears the bark of the bog owl, and meets Dobro Turtlebane.

One of the Best Readers on Audible
Revisado: 11-14-18
Roger's voice and tone on this book is about as good as it gets for an Audiobook. Having an author read their own work is something I love, and Roger's is just so fun to listen to.
The story is enjoyable, all my kids got into it as well as my wife and I on a long road trip. Get ready for the Bark of The Bog Owl. The story is a sorta re-telling of the David and Goliath Mythic Narrative.

Historia
In January 1956, a tragic story flooded headlines around the world. Five men, spurred by a passion to share the good news of Jesus Christ, ventured deep into the jungles of Ecuador. Their goal: to make contact with an isolated tribe whose previous response to the outside world had been to attack all strangers. Through Gates of Splendor, the story of Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, Ed McCully, Pete Fleming, and Jim Elliot, was first recorded in 1956 by Jim's widow, Elisabeth.

Beautiful Heart-wrenching Story
Revisado: 11-14-18
I listened to this one knowing the basic details of the narrative involving Jim Elliot and Nate Saint. Growing up around the general ideas of this story, I was surprised how much I didn't know. Elliot writes beautifully, and inspiringly using multiple journals from Nate, Rodge and Largely from Jim Elliot's own writings. This story has followed me around now for over a year - proclaiming the beauty of The Gospel.
5 Men added themselves to the Great Crowed of Witnesses proclaiming the excellencies of Christ. The title of the book comes from a Hymn they all sang before entering into the Waodaoni territory for Operation Auca:
We rest on Thee, our Shield and our Defender.
Thine is the battle, Thine shall be the praise;
When passing through the gates of pearly splendor,
Victors, we rest with Thee, through endless days.

Historia
With startling transparency, Joshua Harris shares how we can rediscover the relevance and power of Christian truth. This is book shows a young man who rose quickly to success in the Christian evangelical world before he realized his spirituality lacked a foundation—it rested more on tradition and morality than on an informed knowledge of God.

A humble walk through the reformed pools
Revisado: 09-06-15
Joshua's take on reformed doctrine Will be eye-opening to the Armenian camp, and A refreshing reminder for those that a swim in the deep waters of doctrine. The illustrations are incredibly fresh and reduced in a conversational way. Josh has a way of making truths practical and introspective. Really love the book, found it to be transformational
