Historia
When rising wellness star Vasavi Kumar talks about “saying it out loud,” she means it literally. After years of trying journaling, because she’d heard it was a great way to learn about herself, change bad habits, and set and meet goals, Kumar found that it wasn’t working for her. What did was talking to herself, aloud and with the compassion of a best friend. Kumar also learned that all the outside expert guidance in the world was no substitute for finding ways of tuning in to her truest inner self, hearing that self’s guidance and wisdom, and then living it with courage and empathy.

A relief to read/hear a poc neurodivers perspective
Revisado: 03-14-24
I found my way to this book in search of a way to somehow make my life better. In many ways, as a female neurodivers ethnic minority with ADHD and Bipolar disorder in a danish context, I find myself plasteret with stigma, negative attitudes and unrealistic expectations. Vasavi Kumar talks to different sides of me, the side of me fighting, the sides of me that feel defeated and the softer side of me which, for myself, often is numbed out. This book has been helpful in ways to making me aware of negative self talk and how I choose to speak up for my self and show up in the world.
Thank you Vasavi Kumar, for your work and dedication.
