NO!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!! Be prepared!
Revisado: 12-18-16
I really liked the story. Even after finding out it had the "different zombie" take. BUT the narrator decided she had to act out every single book in the series. She didn't read it, she yelled it. For example. Most would read, "No, oh please Jack, no, no, no." This narrator had to SCREAM! NO! OH PLEASE JACK!!!! NO!!!!! NO!!!!!!!! I found myself fast forwarding so I didn't have to hear her yell and act out the scenes. Don't they direct these people????

Historia
Will Trent, a dedicated agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for 15 years, knows that there’s definitely such a thing as a cop’s intuition - which is why he should have listened to his own. While in a restroom at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Will overhears a girl’s pleading, plaintive voice: "Please, I wanna go home." Something isn’t right here, thinks Will. He feels it in his gut. But he waits too long to act, and now the girl and the anxious, angry man she’s with have disappeared into the crowds at the busiest passenger airport in the world.

Revisado: 10-12-16
Slaughter writes wonderful books that keeps me on the edge of my seat. But I am sick of Sara's constant whining about Nina, and her almost "heavenly" morals. It just gets old...

Absolutely Wonderful!
Revisado: 08-23-16
I have been fascinated with the Tudor dynasty for years. I've watched The Tudors on Showtime, and have enjoyed many authors interpretations of their reign. This is the first book I have read concerning Katherine of Aragon. Many authors concentrate solely on Anne, and barely mention the other 5 wives. But, not Alison Weir.
This is her first in what is supposed to be a series of 6 books about Henry the VIII and his wives. This book begins with Katherine's arrival in England and continues until her death. I have to admit, Anne is the one which has always fascinated me. But with the anticipation of 6 books and Anne being the second book, I decided with a sigh, to read Katherine of Aragon. I am so glad I did.
Most books I have read have portrayed Katherine as a boring, frumpy woman who spent most of her time praying. I found myself reading this book and feeling much affection for her. She was far from frumpy or boring, She was an extremely intelligent woman who could speak many languages and managed to keep Henry a happily married man for 20 years.
Alison Weir did a wonderful job writing about Katherine. I just wish I didn't have to wait for the book about Anne!

How does Crouch think up these awesome stories!
Revisado: 08-22-16
One of the things I have always loved about Crouch's books is they grab you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the end. Dark Matter was no different.
Jason wakes up strapped to a gurney, with no idea where he is and why their are men in hazmat suits surrounding him. Then BOOM the listener is off on a suspenseful journey!
I do have one complaint. The headphones to my ipod quit working during the last 20 minutes of the book. Buy this! You won't regret it

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her "glamour" to gain power. Levana explained...
Revisado: 03-30-15
I was looking forward to the next book in this series having loved all of the others. I even pre-ordered this one. I was so disappointed when I discovered it wasn't focused on Cinder and her friends. (Now we have to wait until the fall of 2015.)
That being said, this was a good read. It explains so much of why Levana is the way she is. It doesn't make you like her, nor excuse her. It just explains. I am glad I listened. It helps make it through the time waiting for the next.

Love, Love, Loved it!
Revisado: 03-30-15
It almost seems like all of the authors I love have hit a writers block and I can't seem to find a book to read. But one day while watching the Starz network, I saw the show Outlander advertised. It peaked my interest, and I watched the first season. I loved the show and wanting more, I got the first book.
What an enjoyable book! The narrator "made" this book. I've noticed others have called this a romance, but I disagree. Had it been one, I wouldn't have finished the book. I have book 2 in my library and I will be listening soon!

Revisado: 03-30-15
This would not be a book I would have chosen had it not been for my favorite book reviewer on Audible recommended it. I am so glad I did.
Even though this is a heart breaking story, and Alice's journey with Alzheimer's has a predictable ending, it was an interesting and enjoyable listen. This book should be prescribed for anyone diagnosed or dealing with someone with Alzheimer's.
I you or anyone you know has this horrible disease, this is the book to read. You begin to understand what they are going through and what to expect. Who knows, it may help when your patience is at its end.

Historia
Forty years’ accumulation of art, antiques, and family photographs are more than just objects for Stanley Peke - they are proof of a life fully lived. A life he could have easily lost long ago. When a con man steals his houseful of possessions in a sophisticated moving-day scam, Peke wanders helplessly through his empty New England home, inevitably reminded of another helpless time: decades in Peke’s past, a cold and threadbare Stanislaw Shmuel Pecoskowitz eked out a desperate existence in the war-torn Polish countryside, subsisting on scraps, dodging Nazi soldiers.

Average at best
Revisado: 03-30-15
Harlan Coben is one of my favorite authors and I have read all of his books. "Stranger," was average. Usually his books are hard to stop listening to, and I usually do his all at once no matter how long they are. I found myself stopping the book for phone calls and such and forgetting later that I was even listening to a book. It's as though he is finding it hard to find things to write about.
If you are also a Harlan Coben fan, I know you will probably get this book as I did. Just don't expect his best.
