Amazing

As a recovering alcoholic and addict myself, words cannot describe how deeply this book has touched me. What an amazing story of despair, recovery, and redemption.

Historia
A best seller in its native Canada, Drunk Mom is a gripping, brutally honest memoir of motherhood in the shadow of alcoholism. Three years after giving up drinking, Jowita Bydlowska found herself throwing back a glass of champagne like it was ginger ale. It was a special occasion: a party celebrating the birth of her first child. It also marked Bydlowska's immediate, full-blown return to crippling alcoholism.

Captivating and charming in a raw way
Revisado: 03-20-17
I really enjoyed this book. Couldn't stop listening to it once she got to the drinking chapters. It is so relatable to my recovery. I appreciate her coming out with her raw story. No one can get clean until they are truly ready. Its an inspiration to those still out that they are not alone and recovery is possible.
