I listened to the covenant of water a kind of relived my 70 years as a Malayalee who never lived in Kerala but visited every school vacation and frequently thereafter. Thank you Mr Verghese for such a vivid and eloquent painting of glimpses from my own past.

Not for Don Winslow fans

Don Winslow is one of my favourite authors..i am not sure anymore after having read this book. He should stick to writing American stories. He is totally out of his depth in China and Chinese culture and that is almost half the book. I not only want to return the book, i want to be compensated for my time.

the worst tom clancy i have read..

What would have made Tom Clancy Duty and Honor better?

this book is an insult to Tom clancys legacy..has no real story, it is one long chase after another, and by the time chase ends no one knows why the chase was on in the first place.

Has Tom Clancy Duty and Honor turned you off from other books in this genre?

i have read or heard every Clancy book..there should be a law against people like Grantwood piggy backing on Clancy s success, and fooling people.
