Historia
"Who am I becoming?" That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. Outwardly, he appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren’t pretty. So, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life." It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.

Fabulous! Why did I have to reach 75 to be introduced to the book?
Revisado: 09-16-24
Everything resonates with me. I have taken it to heart. I refuse to hurry and implementing solitude, sabbath, simplicity, and slowing down. Glad to enjoy these senior years in a new reality! Encouraging all the young adults I know you do the same and enjoy this life that God has given!

Amazing story of Frankie
Revisado: 05-18-23
Loved the writing. Loved the intricate story plot of how generations were touched by the horror and injustice of slavery. Forgiveness and love set them free to make a difference in their families and generations!

Historia
As women, we are exhausted. Our hearts are being wrung out to dry - squeezed and yanked in every direction. We take care of everyone but ourselves. We've gotten lost in bedtime routines and our Costco lists. We have lost our voices in the storm of everyday life. We need to be reminded to reach inward and heed the quiet voice whispering, Stay. This book is for anyone who longs for a connection with God and his people but can't seem to escape the haunting feelings of guilt, shame, loneliness, and fear.

Anjuli movingly reads her story drawing us in to find healing where we least expect it!
Revisado: 04-26-20
Anjuli has a moving story to tell and read it well with emotion, bringing me to laughter and tears. Spell bond as she delicately opens her soul to embrace God’s love. Moving. Memorable. Who could imagine that healing comes by Staying where we are and God meets us in that place of pain to make us whole.
