As a lifelong space program and Sci fi fan (original Trekkie from the 1960's), the premise of the story drew me in. As an LGBTQ ally, having representation in a story that felt natural and not forced was important. The social media aspect was very realistic; having experienced some of the gaslighting and other forms of trying to silence queer voices. in our current political climate, it's more important than ever to celebrate and promote stories that feature diversity and inclusion. this was a delight to listen to. It was hard to take a break to deal with daily life activities. Loved every minute!

Great story, held my attention the whole way through. Mark Oshiro is a very talented storyteller. Vico Ortiz was the perfect voice actor to read this story. 5 stars all the way!

Wil Wheaton did a masterful job of bringing this book to life and conveying the drama of the situation. He embodied Whatney so well, you felt like he was really going through this harrowing experience.

Chasten gives us a no holds barred look at his life growing up gay and closeted in the midwest and what it was like being on the Presidential campaign trail as Pete Buttigieg's husband and potential first gentleman. Entertaining and educational; a glimpse into what national politics and living in the spotlight is like.
Well worth a listen!

Elton doesn't pull any punches describing what his life was like from his childhood through his rise to fame; including all the pitfalls that wealth and success often brings with it...substance abuse, promiscuity, hangers-on who are only there to ride your coattails...illness, loss, and an estranged/adversarial relationship with his parents. There is also betrayal by trusted associates, joy, a life long friendship with Bernie Taupin, and finally meeting his life partner and eventual husband, David Furnish. Taron Egerton narrates Elton's life story with panache and enthusiasm...an engaging and fascinating journey of a life boldly lived. Highly recommended!

Dr Clemmons has quite a life story of struggle, hardship, discrimination, talent, friendship, music, travel, and triumph. One of his most enduring friendships was with Fred Rogers...who was the same person many of us grew up watching on TV. Told with enthusiasm by the author along with some singing in his gorgeous tenor voice. Highly recommended!

Very detailed and comprehensive biography of Fred Rogers; including his childhood, upbringing, education, and influences which led to the remarkable man and childhood educator and cultural icon he became as Mister Rogers. This is beautifully narrated by LeVar Burton of Reading Rainbow (and Star Trek) fame. I cannot imagine a better choice of narrator. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Having met Fred Rogers at WQED when volunteering there in the 70's and 80's, I will echo what many others have stated. Fred Rogers was exactly the same person in real life as he was on TV. So glad to have met everyone's favorite neighbor. Enjoy the book!
