A fresh start..... Murder?
Revisado: 04-09-25
Once again the author has written a beautiful world within to write about stocked full of great characters and possible ways of murder, with just a touch of possible romance. the Irish bookstore pulls you right in to the story and more. just like her Scottish Doctor and her community. Lucy is an instant good friend. would love to have a cuppa with her and her characters.

confused
Revisado: 03-11-25
I really thought this book would be interesting. it was very interesting however it just didn't make any sense seems like the author kept jumping centuries first it would be in the 11th century and then it would be modern and then it go back to the 13th century and then be modern I lost track of where we were in the world at what time. it was really hard to tell between characters of old and characters of new.

Revisado: 01-30-25
this book was a little on the confusing side with all the viruses and some of the other DNA stuff and since I read this after covid, the potential of everything is very real as well as some of the science that the author used is also very real. Parts of this book felt like it was nonfiction instead of fiction.

When Emilia explores the impressive castle, she finds a dead man in one of the turrets. The snowstorm hits and the local police can’t reach the castle until it lets up. With no one able to leave, the family insists they carry on with the wedding, which makes Emilia's job as the coroner a bit easier—the suspects are in one place—and complicated because the killer has Emilia in his sights. The fact that no one claims to know the victim isn't helping. It’s up to Emilia to uncover the mystery of who the victim is so the killer doesn’t get away Scot free.

Historia
Sea Isle was supposed to be the fresh start Dr. Emilia McRoy dreamed of. Far from the busy emergency room across the Atlantic in Seattle, she hoped to settle down and begin this new chapter as a small-town doctor to the quirky residents who immediately welcomed her. When she stumbles across a dead body, she starts to think that she may not be as Scot free of the drama and intrigue as she initially thought.
