I have both in kindle. I just couldn't wait to find out what happed next so I had to get the kindle version.
It makes me more enthusiastic in getting book 2 in audible.
I hope it will come out soon !!!
Cassie reminds me of how Lissa was before she got a backbone.
I am so glad that Cassie didn't have to wait centuries for hers.
There are a few surprises in book 2 but you must read book 1 in order to appreciate book 2.
Can't wait, Can't wait Can't wait :)

It Is About Time :)

I have been waiting for it ever since books 11 & 12 came out in kindle.
In fact just now I got the news while reading book 12 after listening to book 11.
How is that for a coincidence !!!
I love & have all of Connie's books & can't wait for the next audio.
I want to sit back & have my Connie marathon when in the mood.
I don't want to give anything away but I recommend to anyone who loves
fantasies, time travel, great writing & great entertainment to check out all her books
starting with the Blood Destiny Series.

Connie Suttle & Traci Odom; One of the best combos

I love all of Connie Suttle books. I have them in kindle as well as audio. I was hoping for books 11 & 12 in audio. I wasn't disappointed. How she can keep all those worlds, time lines & characters straight in her head fascinates me.
I love the spoilers because it actually confirms most of my suspicions on a lot of characters & happenings but like Connie said;
to really enjoy it, you should just start from the very beginning so that you can wrap yourself in Lissa's world. It takes some getting used to but I can honestly say that you will be hook for life from the very first book.

I just can't wait for all of her books to be in audible. So far she has 22 & I can proudly say I have them all!!!
When will Blood Destiny Book 12 - Blood Alliance come to audible? Also I am waiting for the following in audible:
Seattle Elementals Book 2 - Worth Your While

Latter Day Demons Book 3 - A Demon's Due

High Demon Book 2 - Demon Revealed
High Demon Book 3 - Demon's King
High Demon Book 4 - Demon's Quest
High Demon Book 5 - Demon's Revenge
High Demon Book 6 - Demon's Dream

and the rest of Black Rose Sorceress and BlackWing Pirates.

I know that producing these are costly but your fans are willing to pay the price for one of the greatest story tellers of this time frame. Coupled with Tracy Odom & Shiromi Arserio as your Narrators, you can't go wrong.
There vocal talents are extraordinary, at least in my opinion & I consider myself one of your # 1 fans.

Keep it up, please don't stop writing.

What made the experience of listening to Cold Reign the most enjoyable?

Action from start to finish. The comedy between was awesomely placed & done.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cold Reign?

When Bruzer told Jane that he loved her & when Jane told Leo that she'd kick his ass :)

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her voice. She brings Jane to life.I am so glad that Faith has kept her as narrator & hasn't switched her out like they did wiith Anita Blake stories; there by messen them up.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, tghat is exactly what I did :)

When the baby was born and attached herslf to Kara. I believe that she will be Kara's as her Dacar.

What about Liv Anderson’s performance did you like?

I loved it. although I thought that in the beginning she was a little off on Karas voice but by the third chapter has leveled off.

The intrigue & the action. The characters & their quirks. Plus it's funny :)

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I don't think I have but because it has them it works!
I don't think that the voices would have worked otherwise with just one narrator.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

One of the most awesone, exciting and amusing adventures ever to come across the screen!

That King Rego's voice is better than before.
Thanks for considering my suggestion.
If it isn't too much trouble for the last on in this series can you
lower his voice 1-2 more octaves?
That will make him as manly sounding as his actions.

Have you listened to any of Traci Odom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think Traci Odom should continue next with
The Saa Thalarr Series, High Demon Series & The God Wars Series.
I love all her works. I understand how much of a strain it must be to keep
up with so many character voices. that is why it is important for her fans
to tell her when there is a need for a little improvement.
I think she's great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really don't have a special moment. It is all special to me.
I am just glad that Lissa is becoming more of a Queen & less of a pansy.
I mean, she lets the ASD push her around.
She deserves more respect than that.

I can't wait for book 10 in this series.

I have been telling evryone I know about all of Connie Suttle's books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood War?

When Lissa scared the commander of red hand. I could imagine him pissing himself when he thought he had another girl to torcher.

Which character – as performed by Traci Odom – was your favorite?

My faves are - Lissa, Gaven, Roff and all the others but I have only one complaint.
The only complaint I have is the voice of Rego, first vampire king of Harade. He sounds Like a whiny girl. His voice doesn't match his personnality. Please fix it for the next 2 books, thanks.

The Seeds Of War Have arrived for Le-Ath Veronis!
Lissa has to suffer again as if she hassn't suffered enough now little Toff is kidnapped, a price is on her head and betrail is in the air. Another day another betrail.

Would you listen to Christian's Menace again? Why?

I already have more than 5 times. I love the way Jonathan Hall does the voices. You can tell that each person is different.

What did you like best about this story?

The non-stop action.

What does Jonathan Hall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings the story to life almost like seeing a movie.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Well, I can truely say that I can't wait for the next book as long as Jonathan Hall is the narrator.
