Interesting Book
Revisado: 05-01-22
I thought the story was interesting in that it sheds light on how “mysterious” the US was to the KGB. I would surmise that Jack Barsky’s most significant contributions to the KGB were his cultural observations which most likely laid the groundwork for future illegals to get up to speed faster. I like how he weaves God’s meticulous work in his life, to bring him into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Historia
The man who won the Pulitzer Prize for GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, who wrote the classic films THE VERDICT and WAG THE DOG sounds his alarm about the Visigoths at our gates. In RECESSIONAL he calls out, skewers, mocks, and, most importantly, dissects the virus of conformity which is now an existential threat to the West. A broad-ranging journey through history, the Bible, and literature, RECESSIONAL examines how politics and cultural attitudes about rebellion have shifted in the United States in the last generation.

Amazing book!!!!
Revisado: 04-18-22
This book took me by surprise. It’s not that I had low expectations, it’s more that I had no expectations. The writing is some of the best I have ever read, but the way Mr. Mamet weaves his personal history with his personal library and current political issues is masterful. This was so good that I listened to it twice, back-to-back because I was sure I missed things the first time through. It was a joy to read, even though the topics are those that are the most difficult to discuss. This book is a triumph.

Great Podcast - Many Unanswered Questions
Revisado: 08-01-21
This is a great podcast series which provides a lot of information that I was not aware of. It left me wanting more, because there are so many unanswered questions that we may never know the answers to. I am now anticipating the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell in the fall, as a more informed member of the public.

One thing he knows for sure: a peace summit is the ultimate stage for an assassination. President Andrew Clarke is determined to announce his historic peace plan from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Fast paced! Like a Bond movie!
Revisado: 07-14-20
I have read most of Joel C. Rosenberg’s books. They are all very fast paced with political intrigue and events that are not too far from the headlines we see in daily newspapers. I blew through this one in three days. I could stop listening to it. Well done.

Great reading of a great translation!!!
Revisado: 04-20-11
My church has a daily bible reading that takes you through the bible in one year. They have a "listen" button on their website and this is the version that they use for that. I started to really enjoy having it read to me, but I am not alsways able to listen on the computer so I bought this for my car. It is a very fine reading and keeps me interested even through some of the tougher parts of the OT. I actually enjoyed Leviticus!!!
Update: July 8, 2019 - I want to thank William S Cross for his table of contents which has finally made this audio bible usable. Thank you so much William!!!
