Historia
It began on New Year’s Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world’s population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magick rose up in its place.

frightening
Revisado: 09-23-21
Because of the COVID19 pandemic, this story is frightening. And I didn't care for the reader. Her voice is too female for sounding like a man. Plus, the story would jump to a different part without a reason. I would think, what lead to that. Like when the food was taken or when Eric turned evil. Just didn't make sense. I don't know if I really liked it, some sounded just dumb.

Historia
The horrific 1988 murder of four-year-old Barbara Jean Horn shocked the citizens of Philadelphia. Plucked from her own front yard, Barbara Jean was found dead less than two and a half hours later in a cardboard TV box dragged to a nearby street curb. After months of investigation with no strong leads, the case went cold. Four years later it was reopened, and Walter Ogrod, a young man with autism spectrum disorder who had lived across the street from the family at the time of the murder, was brought in as a suspect.

Good book!

I'm angry that the system set this man up! And he's been unfairly accused. I wish that I was on the jury!
