Historia
It's not just about the money. Arguments about money are by far the top predictor of divorce, says Sonya Britt, a professor at Kansas State University. "It's not children, sex, in-laws, or anything else. It's money - for both men and women." Satan seeks every means possible to destroy marriages, and creating conflict around finances is one of his favorite tactics. But there is more to money problems than not sticking to the budget.

Many people don't understand what forgiveness is all about. They are yet to realize that they are the ones who stand to benefit from releasing the grace of forgiveness to others. For us to truly stay in the good plan of God, we must put aside everything that impedes our progress. The sin of unforgiveness.

Historia
Betrayal has many faces, including anger, abuse, deceit, and infidelity. These feel like betrayal because they violate the implicit promise of emotional bonds, that your loved one will care about your well-being and never intentionally hurt you. If you've recently left a relationship where you felt betrayed by your partner, you may have difficulty moving on. In fact, it can seem impossible to view the world without the shadow of past betrayal hovering over you. As a result, you may struggle to create meaning in your life and to build new, loving relationships.

Re-associate memories, retrain heart & mind, core value lists
Revisado: 01-30-23
Re-associate memories almost reminds me of navy seal training, self hypnosis and or disassociation. Retrain heart & mind but retraining memory association. Core value lists galore, get a pen! no talk of healing until last few chapters. long & repetitive. maybe your cup of tea just not mine. Only helpful concept is healing before forgiving instead of religious forced forgiving, takes time, cant rush it and it came from the last chapter or so.

Historia
We can not raise a happy child if we are constantly screaming threats at them. No parent sets out to hurt their child, but this type of parenting does just that. To raise a happy child that wants to behave, you need to retrain yourself first. You need to change the way you think and react to their behavior. You need to understand your triggers and heal yourself. Only then you can begin to heal your relationship with your children.

Waste of money! Less than 2% on Yelling!?
Revisado: 01-29-23
Worst brief pamphlet style generic below basic parenting comments thrown together, sorry excuse for a "book", last chapter vaguely finally rattles off a few below basic sorry excuse for anger management "skills" as to not yell. Waste of money, waste of credit, waste of time. Sad & pathetic.

Financial Infidelity is the number-one problem in relationships - it's a deception so subtle you wouldn't even realize you're cheating. Whether it's a secret credit card, hidden shopping bags, revenge spending, a gambling problem, or more overt financial manipulations and powerplays, the infidelities associated with money can be just as damaging to a relationship as a physical affair.

Need notebook, learn money conversations & habits
Revisado: 01-28-23
Need notebook, lots of quizzes & questions & tests to take to learn you styles, habits & history. learn how to have healthy non-confrontational money conversations & healthy habits & budgeting skill. Not focused on the huge betrayal of Compulsive Gambling type of Financial Infidelity unfortunately but does mention gambling several times. Somewhat helpful in making money conversations easier and healthier & less confrontational for CG's & their GamAnon spouses. Just not specific to GA. Much more general about why you have the relationship you have with money & how that differs for spouses almost like 5 Love Languages in terms of money/spending/saving/budgeting. Still somewhat helpful. Puts things in perspective. Unfortunately doesn't focus on any big betrayal aspects of major Financial Infidelity. Goes over identifying it, how to spot warning signs, lots of quizzes for you and spouse to take.

Historia
The phrase "broken heart" belies the real trauma behind the all-too-common occurrence of infidelity. Psychologist Dennis Ortman likens the psychological aftermath of sexual betrayal to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in its origin and symptoms, including anxiety, irritability, rage, emotional numbing, and flashbacks. Dr. Ortman sees recovery as a spiritual journey and draws on the wisdom of diverse faiths, from Christianity to Buddhism. He also offers exercises to deepen recovery, such as guided meditations and journaling.

Validates betrayed emotional storm & gives coping skills
Revisado: 01-28-23
Validates the betrayed persons emotional storm & cycles while giving coping skills & stages. Very validating. Very useful information. Helpful & calming. Highly recommend. Even tho it doesn't go into Financial Infidelity, GA or Gam-Anon, I found it helpful for my circumstances with Financial Infidelity as the GamAnon spouse of a CG in GA.

Very insightful, worth sharing with spouse, could have taken notes
Revisado: 01-27-23
Very insightful, poses questions, gives lists & storyline suggestions, great reminders. Not helpful to general say seek counseling, for example does not mention anything on Financial Infidelity or Gambling Addictions when is goes into regular infidelity or drug & alcohol addiction, very unfortunate since financial infidelity & gambling addiction go hand in hand and are so prevalent! Seems to be a specialty that gets skipped over constantly. Didn't mention GA or Gam-Anon for those listening when it suggests other help groups. Mentions other helps books for people with specific issues or other helpful websites for certain issues so that's nice (just skips mine). Overall nice and helpful, encouraging & great outlines. One that you want you spouse to read too even being on the other side. The author related to both sides in ever chapter for every issue so that's nice and helpful.

Wish I had taken notes
Revisado: 01-26-23
Helpful questions, lists & scripture. Wish I had taken notes it all. Warning: there is a chapter on sexual abuse I didn't see coming. Good reminders we are called to forgive, not for others but for ourselves. Wish it went into the HOW to reconcile part personally. But generally helpful
