I loved this book! The characters and the story will stay with you after it ends. It’s a tale of friendship, trials and redemption. It’s a portrait of life, where nothing is rarely black and white.

So disappointed in this book

What a waste of hours of my life. I have waited for this sequel for years, only to be disappointed. The extreme left wing activist attitude is pervasive throughout the book. The story had such potential had it been cut by half and the msnbc diatribe removed. He obviously doesn’t believe white southerner republicans can love the neighbors no matter their skin color. The editorial staff slept thru much of this book. Loose bowels and repetitive phrases throughout.

This is beyond hard to listen to at times. The sheer terror of Jude’s life is almost too much. You need him to find peace. As a parent, my heart breaks for children of SA.
