Nuggets of wisdom in a tiny package
Revisado: 08-06-18
I enjoyed this book for it's mentor/protege style and it's simplicity and straightforward approach to trading. There are some solid bits of information here to study, digest, and apply. Trader mindset, learning from mistakes, managing expectations, controlling ego, finding your method, along with other topics. The author gives recommendations of other books to help with this journey. It's a short but solid primer on trading psychology. I also recommend Secrets for Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets by Stan Weinstein.

This engaging survey focuses on the evolution of public policy and its relationship to the constitutional and political structure of government at the federal, state, and local levels. A new chapter in this revised and updated edition examines the debate about "big government" over the last 20 years.

Historia
Drawing on new research, including the diaries, memoirs, and personal letters of both Lenin and his friends, Victor Sebestyen's unique biography - the first in English in nearly two decades - is not only a political examination of one of the most important historical figures of the 20th century but a portrait of Lenin the man. Unexpectedly, Lenin was someone who loved nature, hunting, and fishing and could identify hundreds of species of plants, a despotic ruler whose closest ties and friendships were with women.

Entertaining, Informative, Bias
Revisado: 10-22-16
What disappointed you about Stress Test?
I found it entertaining, but it was very bias and Tim's political views and opinion's are on full display, and HIS WAY always seemed to be the answer and the only way. He spent 18 hours and 20 minutes telling why his way of thinking was correct and 3 minutes at the end on what he did wrong.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Capitalism and Freedom
Which character – as performed by Timothy F. Geithner – was your favorite?
none
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
C'mon man
Any additional comments?
I liked the book quite a bit and found it very informative but It should be understood that this is simply an insider's interpretation. I just wasn't sure of Tim's intentions. If they were for the population or for the administration and the agenda.

Hmm a lot of interesting characters here

Many ear popping moments
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
One thing I found quite interesting was how it seemed as though some of the players felt that they weren't really doing anything wrong. A case study for moral conscience.

A wealth of knowledge
Revisado: 02-15-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Market Wizards to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, not yet anyway.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It was a book of interviews, and I feel I learned a few things from each one.
Have you listened to any of Jack D. Schwager’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I have not, but I am considering some of his other work.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I rarely listen for that length of time. This book flowed very well. When I was at the end of the audio, I wanted it to continue.
Any additional comments?
I will listen to this audio again. There were times where the information was a bit over my head, being a beginning trader, but that did not discourage me. I would rather have it that way, than the other. Also, this book I am pretty sure was not the "updated" version, which showed every once in a while, but don't let that dissuade you from listening.
Because these interviewees were some of the best traders of all time, I highly recommend this audio to anyone interested in investing, at any stage of the game.
