Historia
Tess Spencer loves her low-key job at the Crystal Mountain Spa, which allows her plenty of down-time with her one-year old daughter and lawyer husband, Thomas. But when a pool installation turns up eight skeletons in the spa's back yard, Tess becomes entangled in a sleuthing job destined to go awry. Lots of suspense
Revisado: 09-27-20
As the suspense mounted and the heroine’s romantic choices became even more troubling, I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. But NOW that I’ve finished the book, I want to spend more time with the characters! Patricia Bradley made me feel right at home in the southern town of Natchez, MS. I want to visit again. Thankfully, the next book in the series will be out early next year.

Historia
Harper Taylor is used to being alone - after all, she grew up in one foster home after another. Oliver Jackson finally took her under his wing when she was a runaway teenager. But she’s never stopped wishing for a family of her own. So when a DNA test reveals a half-sister living just two hours away, Harper is both hopeful and nervous. Over warm cinnamon rolls, Harper and Annabelle find striking similarities in their stories. Is it just a coincidence that both their mothers died tragically, without revealing Harper and Annabelle’s father’s name?

Page turner
Revisado: 02-21-20
This is the kind of story that will keep you up late, wanting to read “just one more chapter.” Interesting characters. Intriguing plot. Satisfying ending. And Devon O’Day did a great job reading the book for Audible.
