Best audio and effects ever! More like a movie with just audio!

Listened to the first 30 min and wanted to stop but knew all the great reviews couldn’t be wrong. They weren’t!!! The amazing audio efforts and narration made you feel like you were almost there! Even if racing isn’t of interest, it’s not mine, but found this book fascinating and well written.

Couldn’t wait to turn this off!

After the first 7 minutes the tone and argumentative nature of the characters made me wanted to figuratively get away as soon as possible! Guess they were doing a great job of acting. Nothing in the beginning enticed me to want to give this a chance.

Felt like I was living the story as it happened

Narration was great. Accents and inflection made the story feel real. I actually had to check a couple of times to see if this was a work of non fiction.
Interesting ending.

Although lengthy it all mattered. Unfortunately another cliffhanger at the end which sincerely hope will be addressed in next book in the series which comes out and not have Robbin married which would make it very frustrating.

I’ve just listened to all of this series and with any great author and narration characters come to life! Awesome combination! Never had to beef up the story with excess content and narration was beyond great. Only other consuming series for me was Gregor. Going to start the other 2 series. Thank you to all involved!!!

Most negative reviews talked about privilege…what is privilege unless it’s free to enjoy? If you are working for powers that govern your life that’s not freedom. Appearance is everything and a double standard existed when it didn’t suit the status quo. For me the book clearly establishes you definitely can’t believe everything read or heard. The old adage of two sides to every story ring true here. Wondering how Prince William dealt with the story about him having an affair outside his marriage and how well the family handled those stories. It’s always good not to judge until the shoe is in the other foot.

Gregg and Scott do it again!!!

Great as usual! Evan is one of a kind; combined with the mind of Hurwitz and brilliant narration of Scott Brick I’m continually memorized.
No need to summarize the story … if you’re a fan of this series just sit back and enjoy the twists and turns. For those of you who are new can easily grab others in the series and enjoy this masterful ensemble.

Master of prose and performance! Loved it. Never a dull moment…thinking about ways to scoot off to sneak a listen! For those who might think it’s predictable venture a guess to say most of what we see or read is predictable to some extent. The thrill and enjoyment is in the experience!

This on line chat narrative is so maddening! Waited forever for the next in the series and disappointed! All the chats could have been left out and presented in a way to convey the feelings of the characters. Who thought this would have worked is mistaken. Read the reviews. It’s like a huge game of “he said, she said”. Try listening to that for awhile. Ready to give up!
