A Business Message and Philosophy to Continue Spreading

Mr. Schulz’s message cannot be spread or meditated on enough both for organizational leadership and employee culture. Honestly if we were deliberate in all things in the way he describes the world we be such a better place. Having come from two different organizations that understood this and moving to several that didn’t my eyes have been open how badly this is needed and how it really can make a difference.

Heartwarming and Beautiful Way to Strong Intimacy

I can’t even describe how beautifully written and thoughtful this book is backed by solid research and two therapist couples read in turn by the authors. I literally was just having a discussion with my daughter’s 19 year old boyfriend just days earlier from my purchase explaining we (society) weren’t taught to date correctly at home or in school. This skill and empathy in my mind is as important as financial literacy, our health, mental well being, ultimate happiness, and breathing. It’s something I have been in search of for myself for years in the wrong relationship. A perfect wedding gift. I also plan to introduce to my kids and reread several more times doing the exercises for myself and hopefully incorporate into a growing relationship of my own. Thank you to the Gottman’s and Abrahm’s for writing such a practical heartfelt piece that anyone can use to better their life’s in the most important way.

Where has Robin Kermode Been All My Life?

I’m not sure I can give Robin the proper justice in this review other than to tell you, if you are considering buying this book or want to become a class act public speaker don’t think twice (your decision of course, but that’s how I feel). It is now in my top 5 all time favorite self improvement books. I was so impressed with Robyn’s solutions for curbing anxiety. He does an excellent job of dissecting a speech, planning for it and how you should connect with your audience down to the opening and closing. He shares how you can show respect for them and yourself and goes so far as showing how when you say just one sentence it could be interpreted 8 different ways depending on what you emphasize and where you pause (love the power pause). No wonder we often miscommunicate when we aren’t being careful with our words, tone, inflection and messaging. A must read. Very thankful to have access to Robin’s material!

Very Thoughtful and Unique Approach to PMP EXAM

Scott does a fantastic job at not making the review of the PMBOK boring. Have to agree most competitor audio products are too dry and flat. There has been only one other company I have enjoyed as much as a gold standard. Scott makes the study of the PMP practice more three dimensional, almost like you’re learning on the job...one of the best ways to learn. While I was disappointed not able to find the free tools on Scott’s website, my guess is I bought the book so early in his development process he hasn’t built or put them on his website yet. That made me a little leery reading further on just buying a book that advertises buying a more expensive program which it does, but not before giving first as I learned over and over in each chapter. Really loved Scott’s style of weaving a story one can relate to throughout all of the 47 PMP process. I would say this is a discriminator in reading other books on audio. Nice job Scott!! Really helped me wrap my head around some concepts. The closing a project process was the best and most detailed I experienced to date, even compared to live classroom boot camps. I plan to read the entire book again for an even more in-depth understanding and will consider buying the full videos he plays in the audio. About 98% of the time easy to follow without visual cues. Also extremely great value for what you get!! May look into the testing simulators as well. Happy studying!

We All Need to be More Like This!

Whether at work, at home or in our communities this book offers great ways to build teams, relationships and ultimately a beautiful Orange Revolution Culture! Highly recommend listening to this on Audible. Hearing the excitement and happiness in the authors’ voices was truly contagious! Many new and original ideas too! Some taking a little forethought, but most hardly cost a thing! The stories highlighted range from the branches of the military, to the medical industry, to retail, to playing hometown soccer. I’d like to buy this for every manager in my organization!

The only thing I’m having trouble with is accessing the bonus CD figures on the website. Other than that absolutely fantastic read. Very practical and not a get rich quick scheme.
