Well written, intelligent and sensitive, with sincere self criticism and insights. Would have loved to hear more about the changes going through the Democratic Party etc today but I guess it is for a next book. A must read.

Historia
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Did not learn anything new, no real added value
Revisado: 06-02-23
I don’t understand the hype around it. You can summarize the book in two main ideas: one, save. Find happiness from simple things and stop waisting your money. Having money saved will give you freedom (some would strongly disagree here.. ) You should invest if you have saved enough money and take in consideration that you might loose some money when investing, it goes with the game so you should invest in a way that you have taken in consideration a certain percent of lost that you can cover. Da? Ok. What else?! Nothing really.

Overall it was good
Revisado: 02-18-23
Overall it was good but something is lacking. Repercussion on growing up with immature parents, becoming immature ourselves in some aspects and how to overcome it. There was a but deeper to dig in my opinion, it is nice informative but the last step is missing to me. Thank you still, overall it was a great read.

Historia
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

Amazing book!
Revisado: 01-13-23
Truly inspiring! In our new self indulgent, victimizing, childish and narcissistic society, this is a breath of fresh air! Yes you can chose your path, yes despite obstacles you can chose who you are and who you become. You have responsibility over yourself and the duty to stop making excuses. To have dignity even in the hardest hours. Thank you 🙏 I am so grateful for this book.

At the beginning it started weird, and that’s the whole point to shake you, shake your grounds and show you a new vision, to push you out of the ordinary. It is well written and you grow to love the characters, I will miss listening to it every morning.
