Historia
When experienced homicide detective Casey Duncan first moved to the secret town of Rockton, she expected a safe haven for people like her, people running from their past misdeeds and past lives. She knew living in Rockton meant living off the grid completely: no cell phones, no Internet, no mail, very little electricity, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. What she didn't expect is that Rockton comes with its own set of secrets and dangers.

Leonora, known to some as Lee and others as Nora, is a reclusive crime writer, unwilling to leave her nest of an apartment unless it is absolutely necessary. When a friend she hasn't seen or spoken to in years unexpectedly invites Nora ( Lee) to a weekend away in an eerie glass house deep in the English countryside, she reluctantly agrees to make the trip. Forty-eight hours later, she wakes up in a hospital bed injured but alive, with the knowledge that someone is dead.

Fantastic ❤️
Revisado: 05-13-23
I have over 700 titles in my library - not many titles can I finish in one setting - this is one of those titles. Modern day suspense with a very real life “who’s the creeper” scenario! Amazing character development, set in the UK with a narrator who is perfect to being you along for an actual ride. This was my first book by this author- but won’t be my last!

Where is the lake?), and his sudden urge to sit in every box he sees, he wonders if he'll ever see Cassie or Jerry again.

Historia
A wish is the strongest form of magic. It's also the most dangerous. For psychic Charlie Payne being haunted is an everyday experience. When Charlie agrees to help her cousin forage for furniture at an auction she expects to steer her cousin clear of any lingering spirits. But a child's wish makes that impossible. When her cousin brings home an object with a ghost-child attached to it, Charlie finds herself drawn into a 60-year-old mystery. Her instinct is to help the child move toward the light.

We learn about family..
Revisado: 04-19-21
Finally - more about the family!! Ruby is more at the center and not as in the previous books, but people aren’t as they appear. What you’ll find; relationships deepen, jobs are on the line, more spirit encounters, and Jack needs more than one “Jack” because of Tom - and let’s just say- you never know what kind of wishing will get Ruby into trouble. Don’t worry though - some ghosts still hang around..Another amazing story - let’s go audible release the rest already!
Just keep reading, or listening so I don’t get away any spoilers!

Revisado: 04-06-21
Spoiler - I have read all of the books - but having the audibles are ah-mazing! Our favorite coven of witches continue to delight us with this installment. Relationships deepen (several) we get some insights into back stories (I’m trying to limit my spoilers here) and are introduced to one of Jason’s FbI friends. I don’t like his vibe.. but wait till the end when he gets to experience the full force of the mighty coven..
Keep the books and audibles coming!!

Historia
Josie Bianci was killed years ago on a train during a terrorist attack. Gone forever. It’s what her sister, Kit, an ER doctor in Santa Cruz, has always believed. Yet all it takes is a few heart-wrenching seconds to upend Kit’s world. Live coverage of a club fire in Auckland has captured the image of a woman stumbling through the smoke and debris. Her resemblance to Josie is unbelievable. And unmistakable. With it comes a flood of emotions - grief, loss, and anger - that Kit finally has a chance to put to rest: by finding the sister who’s been living a lie.

Great listen!
Revisado: 11-13-20
Several have made comments in regards to the narrators, in fact it almost had my pass on what would have been a fantastic read! There are cultural enunciations from one of the narrators, that have a strong kiwi accent, if you are not familiar with it - it sounds odd. I will say throughout Jo/Mari recitation I notice the narrator goes in and out from using the voice, it would have been nice to see it used consistently. But it was not enough to distract from the story. of finding out what really matters in life, no matter how much time goes by, you can’t fight love, forgiveness and family.
