Most hilarious thing I have ever heard!!

I have listened to other Larry Correia books but was totally unprepared for this hilarious romp!! A truly great poke at life in the insurance biz and our business world in general. Loved it and really want to send it to my daughter who works in the biz. Dare I?????

The narrator did a good job with quite a bit of gusto!! She was very good. But too childish for my taste. Won't be continuing. Also, many similarities with Bloody Jack series which I recently finished listening to.

The series gets better

This series came highly recommended to me from more than one of my relatives. I started it with great anticipation. Thus, I was rather unhappy after a few hours into this first episode. This first episode sets the scene for additional later episodes/antics. After a couple hours of it, to be honest, I almost quit listening. I found the narrator's voice annoying when depicting the main character and some of the others. However, I persevered through it and I found the second and third books MUCH better as the character matures and has various other adventures. Now on the 5th book, I REALLY look forward to hearing all of the continuing adventures of Bloody Jack!!

As these fantasy series go, this seems like a pretty interesting start. I ended up liking the main character and his plight is remarkable. However, the narrator really turned me off. He sounds like he's at least 60 and the character in the novel is supposed to be 30! I kept picturing an older guy but the circumstances don't fit with that. PLEASE use a younger sounding guy to narrate!!

I realize this is a satire but it doesn't make much sense. Got close to finishing it but finally gave up. It wasn't funny and the characters are pretty dumb. Maybe you have to be a Brit and/or have been an intelligence agent. UGH - this one beat me. Very disappointed as I like Hugh Laurie's acting. Better luck next time, Mr. Laurie!

What disappointed you about Six Years?
The main character of this book is way too dumb to be a college professor - come on, give me a break!! Hated this book and stopped listening several times. Finally quit for good before it was over. Kept thinking it would get better and it never did - UGH!! Bitter disappointment from Harlan Coben - read others of his I really liked.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Not really - perhaps the mystery was catching - I would like to know what happened to Natalie! But no way am I subjecting myself to the continuing stupidity of the main character!

Doesn't merit being in your inventory - I'm shocked it was published!
