Historia
When it comes to the “hard seasons” of life—the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job—transformation seems impossible when grief and uncertainty dominate your days. Especially when, as Didn’t See that Coming reveals, no one asks to have their future completely rearranged for them. But, as Rachel Hollis writes, it is up to you how you come through your pain—you can come through changed for the better, having learned and grown, or stuck in place where your identity becomes rooted in what hurt you.

Her best and most honest book yet!
Revisado: 11-16-20
I loved her first two books and even attended RISE convention, but was not vibing with Rachel Hollis for awhile. This book was a great message and just more authentic than a lot of her stuff. I dig authenticity, which is why the vibe with her content was off for awhile. Now I know why and it’s great to see her standing in her power! Highly recommend.

Buy the book and read it yourself, narration terrible!

The book is a nice light reminder to be Christly at Christmas and I enjoyed the content for the most part... But being a fan of Jen Hatmaker I was fully expecting her to narrate. This other woman sounds like everything she’s saying is a question and it’s really annoying. Had to stop several times and restart because my mind kept wandering to why they would select this narrator. Sorry if that makes me a grump, I should have listened to a snippet first, but I listen to her books all of the time and it’s always her.

Historia
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.
