E.K. Johnston has produced another fantastic work!

This novel is fast-paced, thought provoking, and is permeated with a common theme of hope and rising above one’s circumstances. It emphasises the need for love and compassion.

Ashley Eckstein’s performance and voice were flawless!

The actual storyline is fantastic and explores both the dichotomy between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan as well as the unique relationship between all teachers and students. My only hang up about the audiobook is that I’m so used to hearing Liam Neeson’s voice that the narrator’s facsimile of Qui-Gon Jinn was not close enough and that bothered me. But his Obi-Wan Kenobi is quite close to Ewan McGregor.

I grew up watching Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. It was so calming for a child with a difficult home life. Now that I’m an adult in the professional world, I’m so glad to come back across Mr. Roger’s work. It’s a reminder of what’s really important in life. This book helps me whenever I have a crisis of confidence.

This book is geared towards readers who are fond of the Clone Wars series as well as those readers who may be struggling with issues of identity and a sense of purpose or direction.

I grew up on the original trilogy and was not as enthusiastic of the prequel trilogy. That being said, the Clone Wars did a great job at recovering those missing aspects and presented a new character, Ahsoka Tano.

If you liked the character, this book is well written, and performed by the same voice actress. Worth the listen...probably more so than the read.
