Fantastic performance
Revisado: 06-29-20
I read the book decades ago. I’ve always liked the story. It’s not horror but one of King’s character driven suspense stories. It really is just such a good story plain and simple.
This is my first time hearing it in audiobook format. I was blown away. The narrator did such a good job at capturing the essence of the character. One of the best audiobook performances I’ve heard.

Historia
When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

Very, very good.
Revisado: 11-03-10
This was my first "zombie" novel. I had expectations of something decent, something to please the zombie fanatic out there and not much else. Well, it did please me as a zombie fanatic. It not only pleased me as a fan of the zombie genre but it thrilled me as a reader. This was an over all very good book. If I were reading the physical book itself I would call it a "page turner". This is not only for the zombie fan but also for the action fan, the covert ops fan and even the conspiracy theory fan. No, it's not Dickens, but it is fun, fast paced and not dumbed down. Really it was a treat. Very well written and boy, the narrator was superb. I could re-listen immediately. I certainly hope there is a follow-up.

Intelligent, investigative format
Revisado: 04-19-10
Some argue that Mr. Strobel wrote this book from a one sided view, a predisposed opinion toward Jesus and Christianity. That argument is incorrect. The book is the result of his begining stance as an atheist who sets out to pull apart the fundamental beliefs of Christianity. He already knew the aguments against Christ, he already knew the science, the writings, the "intellectual" aguments that stand against Jesus. This book is a recap of his questioning the other side. Just as an intelligent reporter, lawyer or any intelligent person would do - he gathered information from his oppostion, from all sources. This book is a summary of his findings along with his report on the personal end result. This book didn't start with a Christian wishing to spread Christianity, it began with an atheist trying to disprove Christ.
