Learning Curves with a Happy Ending

I've learned a few things from this series: 1. is that if you are familiar with the Italian poet Dante and Beatrice's story along with other famous poets then this is the book for you and you will appreciate the quotes used throughout the story. I'm not familiar with famous poet's quotes so I had to really think about the meanings of the quotes and how it applies to the storyline. 2. is that you have to have A LOT of patience. This book is not only long, but aggrevating for me at times because I have little patience and I found myself pounding my fists on my desk in frustration because Julia is so naive and insecure with her relationship with Gabriel. I can't believe the things she says or feels after all they've been through. 3. but alas, if you have patience to listen to the first book, then you will have patience to listen to this book which will result in a happy ending. It was an enjoyable listen during the end and I look forward to the next book in the series.

If you've been a fan of J. Frost like I have, this book is an automatic download. This book is the closing to the Cat and Bones saga. It was another action packed adventure with Cat being the stubborn, bad a** vampire conquering justice with kick a** vampire Bones. I won't spoil you with details but I just wanted to write this review to say thanks to the author for entertaining me for hours with this series. I hope there are spin off books from some of the characters in the near future because I didn't want this book to be the last of Frost's vampire world. Hopefully we can see Ian or Varitass' love story? That would be awesome!

Dedicate Your Time for a Romantic Love Story...

If you're looking for a long romantic love story, this is the book for you. You learn a lot of historical info from Dante and Betrice's story which mixes with the characters of Gabriel and Julia and makes the story interesting. The story was unpredicatable and captured my interest throughout, however, the last part of the story had me rolling my eyes saying, "Get on with it already!". Julia acts like more of a school girl in the bedroom than a woman. Not a lot of hot and heavy moments in this book till the very, very, very end. This book was more like a slow historical romance novel. Even though bits of the story were slow, it still motivated me to download the next series. Hopefully, in the next series, "Gabriel's Rapture", will have more hot and heavy moments, otherwise, I will be yawning for another 14 hours.

SO Worth the Wait! Awesome Ending to Steamy Story

Kresely Cole does an awesome job again with writing the 3rd part of the Professional. Part 2 left me hanging and wanting more and this was worth the wait! From the beginning to end, the book capitvated me and this part 3 left me in a temporary haze and I had to stop working to catch my breath. Very Hot and Steamy! All of KC's books are an automatic download for me. I love to hear happy endings along with a little kink.

Good Story but the Narrator Needs to Calm Down...

Iona Sheehan decides to move from the States to Ireland in search of her long lost heritage and find some answers as to why she has magical powers. She learns she's part of a long line of dark witches and the missing link to complete a circle of 3 with her cousins. They need the complete power to defeat a thousand year old witch who's been haunting their dreams and their lives. The story is very good with thrills and chills at every angle but the narrator over exaggerates and I find myself with little headaches throughout the book. I know the story is suppose to be captivating by the powerful spells and magic but calm down narrator and quit blasting my ear drums out...so moat it be! Yes, the book is credit worthy but turn your headphones down and get ready for some overexaggrated narration.

Non Stop Listen!

This story captured my attention from beginning to end! I couldn't put my headphones down. It's mysterious, thrilling, exciting, magical, added in with some romance at the end and viola...awesome book. Narrator is very talented as well. Yelena who's been imprisoned for murder is the next in line for the noose until she's been offered a life of service as a food taster for the commander instead. She is taught the different kinds of poison by the chief of security but is her new job enough? Better than the noose that's for sure, but can she live a life of service knowing that any day can be her last? Credit and purchase worthy! Get it and enjoy as much as I did. Can't wait to listen to the next book.

This Puts 50 Shades to Shame!

This jaw dropping, edge of your seat, panting love story leaves you saying, "WHY DID IT END SO SOON!". KC's books are an automatic download for me so I knew she wouldn't disappoint us in writing this novella and she picks the most talented narrators for her books. It starts off with an innocent, young farm girl in search of her birth parents only to find that she's the daughter of a major crime boss in Russia. Whisked away in the middle of the night, she finds herself on a plane to Russia to meet her father with the most handsome Russian bodyguard any woman can ask for. With a little BDSM, this alpha male wants to take control but on the other hand, he wants to shy away from her out of the respect of his boss. Will he resist? That's the question that will leave you hanging until the next book which is out in January. But will the audio version be out during then as well? Hurry up, I want to know what happens!

Thanks for the Tease MH, Now I Want More!

This was a free download that just teases us for the next randition of the Half Moon Hallow Series. In this story, we follow Gigi's story (Iris' little sister) and how a mystery vamp is stalking her and leaving her presents. She might get a little freaked out about it but she can't forget this brief, unforgettable kiss that she shares with him. The story makes you want more but alas, it's only 3 hours long and it's basically a teaser for the full story. I don't know when the next book is out but I can't wait to hear it.

Edge of Your Seat Story!

This book was WAYYY better than the first book. In the first book, the story lingers and is drawn out. I didn't enjoy it as much as I did this book. Although, you have to start with the first book in order to understand the whole story, it prepares you for this book that leaves you at the edge of your seat wanting more! Talk about sleeping with the enemy, Evie finds herself captured by Death who reveals what her past lives of the Empress was like. Evie doesn't like what she finds and wants to remedy her past faults. However, in order to remedy her past faults, she might have to sacrifice the one she loves most. Very credit worthy and I can't wait until the next book comes out. Kresley Cole is one of my favorite authors and all of her books are an automatic download for me.

Vampire Shape Shifters? So Unnecessary...

This story is about a vampire/cat shape shifter named Ty who's considered to be part of a low quality blood race who serves a high quality blood race queen that is in search of a seer. He comes across a professor named Lily who has no idea that she's the decendent of a extint powerful race. She's identified by a mark (tattoo) on her chest that verifies she's a seer but she doesn't know how powerful she is.

Overall the story is slow. The first half of the story is about Ty trying to get Lily back to his queen but they fall in love with each other and he reconsiders taking her back because his friends speculate that the queen has alterior motives that may result in Lily's death. Of course Ty doesn't want Lily to be in danger now that he loves her but it's too late and Lily is captured. The climax of the story is at the very end but the book still didn't peak my interest. I was finding myself saying, "get on with it already" so I can get to the very end to see what happens. The whole shape shifting, low/high blood race thing was unnecessary. If the characters were just vampires and seers then it still would've made sense. But I guess if vampires are to shape shift into bats, why not cats too?
