Well done Gray Man story, true to his character and legend, and sufficiently convoluted that the answer doesn't start peeking through until 3/4 or so of the book. Some new character additions (Suzanne) need a lot more fleshing out, but very entertaining.

A few too many story lines to weave together realistically. Nevertheless, endearing characters and exciting action sequences pulled it through. Narrator/ narration is great, sound effects use of music, not so much.

What made the experience of listening to Earth Unaware the most enjoyable?

Narration with character voices and accurate personalities

What did you like best about this story?

Fleshed out details of asteroid mining and realistic limitations on human space travel.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Unsure

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Glimpses of humanity in the character flying the corporate ship.

Any additional comments?

Not very original story lines - corporate vs. the little guy, daddy war bucks manipulating the lives of his kid and underlings, resentment of the wealthy - but narration and technology details made it worth hearing.

Not what I expected from O.S.Card, even from the Audible synopsis, and an unfamiliar genre for me. In any case, it maintained my interest and made credible jumps to incredible places.

Unbelievable

The details of Ian Fleming's life, whether true or fictional, sustain the story and keep one listening. The vessel for the delivery of the story is poorly developed and not convincing as are those pursuing and supporting her. I was disappointed.

intriguing, but tedious

I listened to the unabridged version and had some difficulty sticking to it. The story was interesting and unpredictable, but moved pretty slowly. Psychological details were very well done.
My biggest complaint is my own personal dislike of stories told in the first person, and I believe that it made this story that much more tedious. The story is also somewhat unsatisfying due to the unpleasant outcome for the main character.

I agree with whomever said "must be a pen name" or this guy has quite an editor. The story did not drag, the character development is deep and believable and the pace is adequate to maintain interest. The twists in the tale are confounding at first because you truly don't know where you are going or how things will hook together, but in the end it enhances the tale as the reader "remembers" connections as the lead character does. Very fulfilling book.
