Historia
From growing up in Los Angeles with movie star neighbors, bearing witness to the music scene in the 1960s and seeing the rise of comedy in the early 70s, to studying mime in Paris under the tutelage of Marcel Marceau to becoming a founding member of the seminal comedy troupe The Groundlings, it's no wonder that Lorne Michaels offered Laraine Newman a spot in the original cast of Saturday Night Live. There, Laraine was part of the show that changed TV - and comedy - forever.

Thanks Laraine
Revisado: 06-25-21
A very interesting story told honestly by a truly original SNL cast member. I remember the first show well and Laraine was always underrated in my opinion. She takes us behind the curtain and lets us see a little into some of her experiences and relationships with people of our generation. Thanks for a great listen, Laraine!

All Americans should be concerned

In the end God always wins.
Revisado: 06-02-19
This spectacular and well researched book is a roadmap for understanding everything about what citizens are not supposed to know about how our Justice Department can and has abused its power. Everyone should read this book regardless of political leanings. Dr Corsi is a courageous man with deep convictions and no regrets. This is an important book for those of us who want our country to succeed and remain true to our founding fathers’ wisdom.

Historia
Gianni Russo was a handsome 25-year-old mobster with no acting experience when he walked onto the set of The Godfather and entered Hollywood history. He played Carlo Rizzi, and he didn't have to act - he knew the mob inside and out: from his childhood in Little Italy, where Mafia legend Frank Costello took him under his wing, to having to go on the lam after shooting and killing a member of the Colombian drug cartel in his Vegas club. Along the way, Russo befriended Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando. Russo had passionate affairs with Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minelli....

Excellent autobiography of an astounding life.
Revisado: 03-30-19
If you know and love the movie The Godfather, don’t overlook this book. It’s also an example of how to overcome any obstacle in life. Russo’s life story is absolutely incredible and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing him read it. I may actually listen to it again.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

This is why I love Stephen King
Revisado: 08-08-18
I haven’t read Mr King for years and I’m not sure why, but now I remember why I loved his works. Visual writing, deep characters you understand and an entirely engrossing story. I’ll be catching up on all I’ve missed through the years, now.
