Unique view
Revisado: 07-19-24
What a unique view into Japanese lifestyle & culture & the US through the eyes of an outsider. A remarkable true story about the first Japanese person to interact with the US & influence his people once he returned.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Riveting
Revisado: 12-04-18
This is a riveting book. For me, it’s such a different upbringing from my own & it’s written & delivered in a way that balances humor with heartache & tragedy. We can more more fully grasp truths of segregation, hatred & discrimination alongside the humanness of love & mischievous youth that surpasses social limitations. This is worth your time & will impact your life!
