I wish I wrote my life down...
Hearing what McConaughey thought, did, schemed, dreamed, sought, found, relished and realized was really close to home. It’s the kind of stuff I wished I knew in the moment, and makes me want to think more about the future. And he did a kick ass job reading it.
I have some old movies to rewatch.

Jon Meacham is undoubtedly an masterful author/biographer. For all the incredible lives he has chronicled, this book has an infectious aura of awe about the life of John Lewis (one until now I knew little about). I enjoy biographies a great deal. This one, above all others, I feel grateful that it was written. Your admiration of Mr Lewis was infectious , in a way I imagine you intended.
