Disappointing

Narration was good. No drawls or boring voices - did a good job with it.
Storyline started out interesting and drew me in - but, as other reviews pointed out, the jealous wife stuff got old. Fast. Storyline went straight south - completely lost the mystery of who did it, and it got so boring near the last few chapters, I almost didn’t care who did it. Just get me to the end of the book. Once done, not only was it a let down, I am desperately trying to find a way to mark it “finished.”
Recommending Nora ROBERTS -the witness - that’s a great crime story. I had a hard time putting that one down!

I was hooked!

Decided the best way to get my early morning walks in was to listen to books on the apps. Love Nora Roberts, so I bought this audio version for my iphone. I walked the full 7 1/2 hours (not all in one day of course) that I listened to this book. Narrator Julia Whelan was awesome - I know the narration has a lot to do with it, and she did a fabulous job. I couldn't stop listening to the book. When it finished, I was really bummed. I wanted it to go on. I've been done with the book for a few weeks or more, and I *still* think about the book and the characters and wish there were more chapters to listen to. There were a few suspenseful parts that I couldn't shut it off. Some if it was a little dragged out, but not bad at all. I'd listen to it all over again, and probably will. If you like a little mystery, crime, romance - it's a good one. Highly recommend.
