Historia
Sketch artist Tino Ciccotelli is passionately dedicated to helping victims of violent crime. For years he's translated their descriptions of attackers into "WANTED" posters. While listening to the victims' pain is emotionally draining, Tino accepts this as part of the job--until he discovers that he and his newest client have a personal connection. He is devastated to see Dorothy's injuries and determined to help the police catch her attacker, but he must also deal with the return of her niece, his first love who left him when their lives were just beginning.

Narrator Ruined It
Revisado: 03-05-25
I almost gave up and then I realized it was a short listen. I also sped it up -- it made it a little more bearable. I'm not sure if the narrator normally speaks like that or that was his performance. If the latter, he needs to just go with a normal voice. I'm not really sure how good the book was because he was so distracting.

I'm going back to print for this series

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
No, the narrator ruined it for me
Would you be willing to try another one of Lorelei King’s performances?
Not at all.
Any additional comments?
I loved the CJ Critt narrations. Her characters are endearing and lovable. With King, the characters are just plain irritating. Grandma Mazur sounds like the witch from the Wizard of Oz. Very disappointing.
