Funny and cute for 10yo boy
Revisado: 04-11-25
My 10 yo boy loved this story. While listening he would randomly laugh a few times a minute. This story was a fun way that helped my son get to know the Book of Mormon characters on a more relatable way. I’m sure we’ll listen to this many more times. Love it.

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Great performance. Story good but lacks some finality
Revisado: 09-21-19
I'm a fan of the author and this book is great. The performance of the audiobook was fantastic.
The premise of the book really made me ponder on the good and bad of talking to strangers and it has made me think about how I can do better in my own life.
The stories and examples are thoroughly thought out and presented well. However, a few of them didn't have a well-established conclusion. As some of the chapters ended I was left wanting more finality to the communication themes. Also, the point on how the Golden Gate bridge fix can easily be replicated by removing hand guns in society is, although respectfully presented, is also somewhat presumptuous with little further discussion offered.
