I started this story a while ago. But for some reason I didn’t get far. I started it again last night and it hooked me from the very beginning.
I love that Blue grew up and came into her own. But was still trying to make sure her girls had a relationship with Isaiah.
This narration was different. But I appreciated different voices for the men.
This book reminded me that love and life are messy. But you can navigate it and set boundaries to have healthy life and love.

The turn of events of each person has surprised me. Every time I was ready to quit listening something would happen to make me continue own.
This genre isn’t for everyone. But this particular story drew me in. I am invested.

Sean Crisden is an amazing narrator!! I seriously think I could listen to him read the dictionary.
Ms Brehan’s southern accent was not the best but it did not deter from the story.
Also I wanted to mention the interaction between Holt and Merada (?). Their music of choice when working was very interesting. Then to say what the “Wolf”’s song of choice was hilarious to me.
D A Young has woven a story and created characters that I am so invested it. I need more stories from this Author, please!!!
