Historia
For a brief period after the world changed forever, the self-reliant community of Trout Run Valley managed to avoid conflict. They practiced subsistence, and found safety and security within their numbers. As the post-apocalyptic timeline moved forward, it began to spiral downward. Takers had made their presence known, and their malevolent intentions clear, transforming the once benign community into a violent battleground.

Great continuation of a good storyline
Revisado: 08-18-17
I thought book 1 of the series was a good read and couldn't wait for the follow up. Well, book 2 didn't disappoint! Enjoyed some of the twists brought out in this book and the storyline through both books is well thought out and entertaining. Looking forward to other works from C.A. Rudolph. I also hope the collaboration with Kevin Pierce is continued. His reading of this series as well as others is on point time and time again. Highly recommend this series to others.

Historia
The harrowing, true account from the brave men on the ground who fought back during the Battle of Benghazi. 13 Hours presents, for the first time ever, the true account of the events of September 11, 2012, when terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station called the Annex in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six American security operators fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. Those men went beyond the call of duty, performing extraordinary acts of courage and heroism.

Good narration and very well written. Lots of details that I didn't previously know. Story line was easy to follow. Hard to believe this is a true event.

I liked this storyline by Michael Connelly. Kept you guessing until the end. This was my first book of his that I listened to. Will definitely have to go back for more.

Historia
October 1945: The Germans and Japanese have surrendered. For Cletus Frade and his colleagues in the OSS, it should be time to pack up - but they have far more important things to do. Chief among them is the protection of their assets, especially the human ones. In the closing months of the war, the United States made a secret deal with the head of German intelligence’s Soviet section. In exchange for a treasure trove of intelligence - in particular the identity of the Soviet spies in the U.S. atomic bomb program - his people would be spirited to safety in Argentina.

Historia
It is April 1943, and Marine aviator Cletus Frade, Army demolition's wizard Anthony Pelosi, and communications expert David Ettinger are thrust again into the lethal nest of intrigue that is wartime Buenos Aires. A clandestine German vessel sets sail to resupply submarines in the South Atlantic...as a massive shipment of money earmarked for postwar Reich makes its way to South America...and a coup designed to topple the government reaches critical mass. In the midst of it all, the German-ordered assassination of Cletus Frade's father demands only one response: revenge.

Great story...horrible narrator
Revisado: 03-19-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Blood and Honor to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version of this book and could not answer to which is better.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cleat is my favorite character. The transformation into his Argentinean culture is subtle but good.
What didn’t you like about Michael Russotto’s performance?
The narrator sounds like a robot trying to read this story. His slow, methodical breakdown of every syllable is like fingernails on a chalkboard. The way he speaks in this makes it sound like he is concentrating so as not to make a mistake. Ruining a good story for me!
