Simon is a wonderful writer. I have enjoyed his work for a long time now. This entry into a new series breathes new life into the thriller genre! The plot twists are refreshing and not predictable, as so many of our favorites in the genre have become after the last two decades. Caspian is young, energetic, lethally talented, and with this entry he promises to be around for years to come. Simon, I anxiously await July 8th...

Nice Premise

I really enjoyed this book, as usual Bray is a master of his craft! There have been some negative reviews because of the POTUS’ portions of this book. Those reviews are weak. Fuchs never mentions POTUS by name, you can insert any talking meat stick who has occupied the office.
The action is solid and the bad guys aren’t who you think. I was looking forward to a showdown between elites and how it happened was oddly surprising but pleasing nonetheless.
I liked the bad guys. They were great! One thing Mr. Fuchs, bring back more D-Boys!

I loved the book, there were some slight technical errors that gnawed at me. There are no Lieutenant Colonels in the Navy. Once I got past that all was good. I really liked the fact that other characters got equal time. Well done!

It had a slow build up-then BOOM! I found myself with earbuds walking out of my way to continue listening. Same with driving, I would go the long way to get through a chapter.
Which scene was your favorite?
When the SEALs, encounter one of the agents and she underestimated them.

When the humans fought back.
