If you're a fan of 80's Hair or Glam Metal stay away from this poser of a book. This wanker slams every band that filled arenas with mind blowing guitar solos and stage presence. Next!

Since I was a teen I've known of John and Marsha's names on so many metal releases. It's fantastic to get the back story on these two incredibly important people. We can only wish they recorded another book or two worth of amazing memories. R.I.P. Zazula's Thank you both so much!

As an 80's teenage rocker I can't begin to count how many times we jammed the Crue. This is a fantastic journey far beyond the music. I'm truly enjoying the memoirs so many of our favorite artists have been sharing these days. Back then they were larger than life, now we know they struggled just as much as the rest of us in their own imperfect worlds.

This was an enjoyable listen from the roots of VH from family life to their rise to stardom. It doesn't venture past their debut album much,, but it's enjoyable, and has a lot of between the lines goodies.

I've been an audiophile since my Vietnam Veteran father gave me my first stereo system bought overseas. I was always the envy of my peers with those beautiful Sanusi SP-X9700 speakers blasting tunes with the help of a Pioneer SX-850. I recently discovered Paul's YouTube videos amd enjoy them. I'm unsure if I'll purchase any PS products, but I did enjoy his story and colorful narration. This is one I can listen to again, just for pure enjoyment. Thanks Paul !

As an 80's teenage Metalhead Megadeth weren't my favorite band, but their style and sound were up there with the best. This album is raw from start to finished. We need more books like this one, with input from more sources. It's a great listen!

This guy doesn't just pat himself on the back, he belts out a full on applause! Having said that, I'm always up to a good book that tells so many between the lines stories none of us even fathomed as child/teenage fans between roughly 77 -85 ..ish. A huge stand-out is the often repeated way Michael Anthony was treated.. right or wrong it was sad. Something tells me if he ever writes a book, we'll hear the actual facts, nothing more, nothing less. All in all, this is a good book and I did enjoy and recommend it along with the recently completed "Confess" written and narrated by Rob Halford.

Another great book from one of our Metal Hero's. As a teen you're clueless to the lives being lived behind the scenes. As an adult you can appreciate the struggle and emotion of these stories. This is a raw story, maybe too raw for some. Who would have known there was so much drama amongst the twin guitar gods. Who would have known the emptiness Halford felt in a world that was his for the taking. I truly enjoy these memoirs from our favorite music hero's. 5 stars!

50 plus years of Ozzy's "memories ". The Black Sabbath years were funny and laughable. Not much detail on the solo years, especially after the Randy era. Still , this listen is enjoyable and definitely worth it's price. Another good book by one of my teenage Heavy Metal idols.

DG is a rare human. Turning misfortune into opportunity. In a world that blames all others, minus the reflection in the accountability mirror, his honesty is respected. We have no excuse for underachieving in life. We may not care to break records or accomplish physical feats, but we can create a world where we flourish, and create a life to be proud of, no matter what cards we’ve been dealt. Life is a risk, just go for it. Whatever it is, go for it!
