Historia
As always, Reacher has no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. One morning he ends up in a town near Pleasantville, Tennessee. But there’s nothing pleasant about the place. In broad daylight Reacher spots a hapless soul walking into an ambush. “It was four against one” . . . so Reacher intervenes, with his own trademark brand of conflict resolution. The man he saves is Rusty Rutherford, an unassuming IT manager, recently fired after a cyberattack locked up the town’s data, records, information . . . and secrets.

Love these books, but tired of Stone's sexual
Revisado: 11-02-20
I love the Stone Barrington books, but could you please leave it some of the sex and add more story? It seems like these last ones are more about his sex life than the real issue. Surely, he has an std by now!!

Historia
Here is one of the best historical novels ever written. Lame, stammering Claudius, once a major embarrassment to the imperial family and now emperor of Rome, writes an eyewitness account of the reign of the first four Caesars: the noble Augustus and his cunning wife, Livia; the reptilian Tiberius; the monstrous Caligula; and finally old Claudius himself. Filled with poisonings, betrayal, and shocking excesses, I Claudius is history that rivals the most exciting contemporary fiction.

Classic and Timeless
Revisado: 09-19-20
The intrigue, brutality and constant shifting of the Roman Empire is told in words just as true today. No one was safe and evil abounds in this truth about the most intelligent and witty Caesar who found himself both ignored as an idiot and yet smart enough to live to become emperor.
