Historia
His power began in the ancient world, long before you and I were born. He is the master vampire. And he's here. Now. Imagine a vampire brought back to life by a crazy old man in a sleepy coastal village. Imagine a horror so unspeakable, so threatening, that no one is safe. No one is immune. Now imagine yourself the only person in town who believes the truth, the only person who can halt the terror. Then keep your eyes wide open. Look over your shoulder. Because this isn't your imagination. This is for real. Sleep only if you dare…

Great story, terrible reader
Revisado: 08-29-24
I love this story. Have the novel and thought this would be nice to listen to on a long drive. I can not believe how bad this voice actor is at reading this story. The opening of this story is to set the mood of the impending doom about to creep over the beach town, but the way this man reads makes it almost impossible to stay with the book. I turned it off 20 min in and had then finally I listened to the rest of the book though it was rough. Another great book ruined by a bad reader.

Historia
Psychology of...Horror Villains, Survivors, and Victims poses this question: If our favorite characters were real, what would their psychological disorder be? Could they have been helped? What type of treatments would they have received? Why were some people survivors, and why did others become victims?

Waste of a Credit
Revisado: 06-17-23
The premise of this book is intriguing and presents itself in a way to get any horror junky to click “yes please” but it sadly falls very short. First the person reading this has no passion for what they are reading and makes every word a chore to pay attention to but its not all her fault since the material is just awful. Once again the premise is great but the execution is so so bad. You hope for in depth study or at least fun suppositions about your favorite horror villains and their victims/survivors but all u get r brief glances of backstory and the crimes mixed with a couple clinical words and then on to the next. i was already through Friday the 13th and Halloween while getting breakfast in a McDs drive through. And it wasn’t a busy day. I eventually lost all interest and couldn’t finish. Its a good idea but don’t waste a credit or a dime on this book

Historia
In Buck Lake, Colorado, the resident dog catcher, Collins, is on the verge of retirement. But something strange lurks in the woods, about to ruin his plans.... After 30 years, Collins is ready to be done with small-town animal control. His replacement, Blair, is a Gen Z vet student who hates mansplaining; they don’t get along. But on the eve of his retirement, Collins gets a call that changes everything. There’s been a report of a vicious wild dog on the loose.

Well Done

This story was well written, well acted and well produced. Once I started I couldn’t turn it off. I wish this was a movie I could watch somewhere.
