Historia
Mark, Todd, and Zola came to law school to change the world, to make it a better place. But now, as third-year students, these close friends realize they have been duped. They all borrowed heavily to attend a third-tier, for-profit law school so mediocre that its graduates rarely pass the bar exam, let alone get good jobs. And when they learn that their school is one of a chain owned by a shady New York hedge-fund operator who also happens to own a bank specializing in student loans, the three know they have been caught up in The Great Law School Scam.

Expected More
Revisado: 12-11-17
Simply not Grisham's better efforts. The story line was weak and seemed to serve a need for the author more than trying to excite the reader/listener

Unrelated news events? Retired FBI agent Sean Kruger doesn't think so. He suspects it's the work of serial killer Randolph Bishop. Solid Kruger
Revisado: 12-11-17
Book 3 in the Kruger series maintains the momentum and intensity fans have come to expect. Added to the rush of the crime spree, Kruger is faced with conflicting emotions as to the direction his life will take. All in all, a great read/listen in the series.

Staying Strong
Revisado: 08-04-17
Book two in the Sean Kruger saga continues where book one left and maintains the same fast paced action and drive the author Fields is becoming noted for. I particularly enjoyed the internal conflict Kruger felt as he tried to balance his dedication to his job, the wishes and desires of his wife and his personal expectations, I am anxiously looking forward to number three.
Books are theater of the mind and the importance of the voice narrating cannot be underestimated. Mr. McSorley's abilities in this area allows him to do much more than just read the story aloud, he provides a verbal soundtrack.
Well done gentlemen.

Historia
In the lobby of a Wall Street investment firm, one man is dead and another seriously injured. The man accused of the crime is now a fugitive. When Special Agent Sean Kruger is personally ordered to New York City to find the fugitive, Kruger questions the reason. Told to shut up and do his job, he starts looking into the case. What he finds is troubling. Eyewitness accounts seem contrived with little variance between individual testimonies. The more he hears, the more he feels someone is manipulating the story.

Enjoyed this book from start to finish. Had never read a Fields book before and can say this one will be the first of many. Great characters, story line and dialogue. Have heard McSorley's work before and once again, he's on top of his game. McSorley adds to the well written characters.

Renewed My Love for Horses
Revisado: 08-23-16
The author wove a wonderful story of three friends; a goat, a horse, and a cat. Into their mix a new girl is thrown. What I liked best was the way the five main characters all gave of themselves and by being willing to share, got love, support and friendship in return. The story is held together with the facts that life can be hard and painful, but the love of friends can make it magical. Great read for anyone who loves horses, or would like to get acquainted with them. Gave a copy to my granddaughter for her birthday. Can't give a higher recommendation than that. Loved this story.
