I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this one has not let me down. A new twist by the dark and enemies of the county. Wow.

Loved this book. As a guy, maybe I shouldn't but I did. The secret book and scone society is a great listen with great characters with just enough color to make it highly interesting. I can't wait to see if the society continues.

Why can't Audible come up with other questions than "Uh duh, what was your favorite character." I won't be answering this question anymore.

Another Classic from The Hardy Boys

Would you listen to Hunting for Hidden Gold again? Why?

Not for a while, I seldom read books more than once unless there is something special about them. For this and the other Hardy Boys books. I may listen to them again someday. We will have to see.

What did you like best about this story?

The no nonsense way the Hardy Boys go about things. It was refreshing when I was a youngster myself and is now too.

Which character – as performed by Bill Irwin – was your favorite?

No favorite in this one. As in most of these books, all the characters are necessary and done well.

No, just enjoyed it a lot

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would definitely change how this book was narrated. The different characters seemed to have different levels of volume and it took a while to get a comfortable listening volume. I either became used to it or it got better farther into it.

What did you like best about this story?

Familiar characters. I am a big fan of the old time radio The Shadow series and this reminded me a lot of that.

No, but an equal.

Well, no. But it is a close second.
