Why would they pick such a young feminine male voice for a 6 foot something broad chested fire fighter? It ruined the entire vision. Does anyone know who picks the narrator? Is it the author, or the publishing house, or the editor? Otherwise, Cute little story read really fast.

Book was okay but doesnt the author or publishing house know that a bad narration can ruin a book! Both the female and male Protagonist sound like there Half a sleep. And attempt at a low sexy gravely voice Sounds again like there thirsty and coming off of some drugs!

Liked the story but the "oh does she/he like me" from both characters got so old for me. And the voice of Elena was creepy and so not erotic! Bad narration can ruin the whole book.

The description made this book sound more sinister but he turns out to be a self discovery journey for are protagonist. As she's Captive, She finds in starts reading her Journal from when she was a teenager and Starts to learn More about who she is, how she's loved, and been loved. Just thought it would be a little more Suspenseful and Dark

I don't think I've ever read a book about a female sociopath, and I hope I can find more just like this because I absolutely adore it!

I just finished the book and if you asked me who the author was or the name of the title I couldn't tell you because I found it a little stale and ya read 1 cop Serial killer book youve read them all.

Unique story..Horrible Narration!!

I really liked the story and it would even make a good movie. BUT the male narrator ruined it for me. What a seriously horrible job! He didn't relay the characters emotions properly, made the GIRLS voices sound like a gay man, and made so many scenes anticlimactic. How do the Authors approve these narrators after they hear them??? I mean some of them just destroy the story. Makes me very upset and I wish there was a way where we could pick from a list which narrator we liked.

Whining all the way through..

I wonder if the author approved of how the narrator made our protagonist Angie Pallarino sound. I felt that she had a whiney trembling voice all the way through the book, and I don't believe it is a proper portrayal of her. I wish we could change narrators if we wanted. This book is on the bottom of my Loreth Anne White list and I'm going to try and forge through Book 3 just to finish the story line. Start with A Dark Lure its fantastic! I read it three years ago and for me, it's one of those stories that just sticks with you.

Worst Narrator ever

Someone please tell me if there's a way to change the narrator off this book?!!! I really like the story so far, but the high toned, whispy, bougie voice of this woman is a terribly wrong choice. I don't know if I can finish..ugh
