Any audio book that runs 77 CHAPTERS deserves a complete review. If you were a Morrissey/Smiths follower in the 80’s you know that this auto-b is spot on. Ok, it’s a biased opinion, but I’m not sure an anti-Moz fan would actually torture themselves by listening to a 70+ chapter book. For the most part, Moz discusses the highs, lows, and real lows of his life. Maybe he is a bit obtuse when it comes to sympathizing with those around him. But anyone who possesses this kind of talent deserves to be a bit “different” yes? Definitely worth a listen.

First of all, consider who would listen to a book like this. If you answered “a fan of tennis” you’re correct. So then you can understand why it drives a person crazy when so many names, places, things are mispronounced.

The history of golf like only Sampson can create. Whitener does Sampson justice by speaking in just the right way that takes you to the scene that the author intends.

Jimmy’s most important values: sense of worth, money, women. See a pattern here? Professional tennis was merely a vehicle Connors used to fulfill these values. Entertaining to hear the various stories of how he and cohorts (Nastase, Gueralatis, etc) went about achieving this. Such great personalities in the pro game back then! Tennis needs more entertainers like these guys
