A solid book. Bad reviewers are prudes.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I really enjoyed this book. The narration is captivating and the characters are unique. It wasn’t the best book ever but definitely worth a listen. I will eventually spend a credit on the next in the series. Also there are graphic sex scenes but they’re not THAT graphic. They’re short and sweet, nothing to get hot and bothered about.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are about! This is so incredible. A bit slow to start because there is so much to learn and understand but wow EPIC!
The narrator took me a bit to get used to but she actually does it perfectly when you begin to understand the characters.
I cannot wait to start the next book… downloading now!

A unique and epic tale full of politics and magic. This is one of my favorite trilogies to date and I haven’t even finished it!
As always the narrator really makes this worth the listen. I wish every book was narrated by Saskia Maarleveld!

Good but nothing special. Would recommend.

This kept me enthralled most of the time. The narrator was OK. I may be biased though because I prefer female narrators. I guessed the big twist very early on so it wasn’t that exciting. Overall a decent British cop mystery.
