Historia
In the city of Queen Mab, nothing is quite as it seems. Pariah, spy and Inquisitorial agent Alizebeth Bequin is all of these things and yet none of them. An enigma, even to herself, she is caught between Inquisitors Gregor Eisenhorn and Gideon Ravenor, former allies now enemies who are playing a shadow game against a mysterious and deadly foe. Coveted by the archenemy, pursued by the Inquisition, Bequin becomes embroiled in a dark plot of which she knows not her role or purpose.

a fantastic story!

This is one of the best stories that I have read in a long time. Major kudos for not propagating the "corrupt church/religion" trope.

Historia
The town of Ankh-Morpork is in big trouble, and the City Watch is desperate for a few good men to protect it. But all they've got are the dwarves Corporal Carrot and Lance-constable Cuddy; the troll Lance-constable Detritus; Lance-constable Angua, who is believed to be a woman; and, worst of all, Corporal Nobbs, who has been disqualified from the human race for shoving!

poor recording quality
Revisado: 06-04-19
I love Discworld but the recording quality was awful. Nigel Plainer does a fair job with men's voices but poorly with women. Worst of all, the production sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom while the narrator read from under a thick quilt. Loved the story, loathed the production.

this was a fantastic sci-fi war story. I read John Ringo years ago, and forgot how much I enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next installment.

A fantastic book read by an enthusiastic narrator. Will Wheaton fully understands the subject matter and brings it to life with a flawless performance. Also he us mentioned in the book, so that is fun.

Good if a bit gilded
Revisado: 10-13-17
Not a bad adventure story, but it felt very unrefined compared to other more substabtial sci-fi works. Battlefield Earth suffers from a large cast of depthless characters and a protagonist that is a paragon Gary Stu (see Mary Sue character for referance). Terl, while being the main antagonist, manages to be deepest and most relatable character in the story.
All in all not bad, but not great either.
