Die man gebruik anglisismes soos wat ander mense toilet papier gebruik. Ek kon net nie meer nie. Ek kan nie aan n enkele boek dink wat ek in my hele lewe net eenvoudig nie kon klaar maak nie. Vandag moes ek want as nog even keer hoor van sy "koeverte" operasies (covert in Afrikaans word klaarblyklik so genoem), bars ek n aar.

Die leser het baie goed gelees. Hy is die enigste rede hoekom ek so lank uitgehou het.

This was so nice that I finished it twice. Yes. In a row. And there's some twists that I didn't expect. And I've been reading for 34 years. Loved it.

Also. The narrators did such a good job! The man did the voice so sexy that certain parts I kept on replaying. He just does the part where he does the girl's voice a little too much. Too giggly. When she's happy. But still. Awesome.

The part where he says "she wants to play? I can play." wow. Sexy af.

Well done! I will honestly listen to all your books now.

And listen to all books with these narrators.

I'm not going to borrow this book as part of my escape package. I will buy it now to keep it. So far that only happened with 2 other escape romance books.

Did I say well done?

P. S. The way this book shows BOTH sides of bullying? And that for once, the girl isn't the perfect, good girl that every one likes? Or even dislikes because she is so kind or caring or nerdy like in many other books? I'll be telling everyone about this book. No jokes. Thank you.

The voice

It physically pained me to hear this female reading this book. I made a point of remembering her name. I'll never ever listen to anything she narrates. She stretches her last word and is overly breathy. I couldn't even finish the book

More than one narrator

It needed a male voice to narrate the warrior and the wayfinder. It would have brought them more to life.

Do yourself a favour

I had this book on my device for a long time before actually listening to it. I have no real words to describe this. I finished this book in one go. I haven't slept in two days. But I finished this book. I kept on replaying certain parts. I never really leave reviews. It's good or it's bad. Simple. I can honestly say that this is one of the very few romance books I'll never forget. I had 3 shocks in this book. The last time that happened was when I read a Sidney Sheldon book called "Tell me your dreams". These books never ever really have any surprises. Even if they don't build up to the 'surprise', you always kinda suspect what's about to happen. This book left me clueless until the actual moment of the surprise. And what I love most is that the intro doesn't tell you who is gonna land up together. I kept on changing my mind about who I think she'll end up with.

I know this review is almost the same length of the book, but I wish I could contact the author and congratulate him / her. To read something unique after 33 years of reading, well that wants to be done. I will NEVER remove this book from my device. And I am going to write my next blog post about this book. I already decided.

Read it read it read it. Or don't. And die of boredom...

Oh lord. Please get another narrator. I love this story and would love to listen to it again. But this woman's voice is killing me

Something different

It wasn't predictable and more of the same. I really really liked it and it's one of the few books I'll keep in order to listen to it again at some other time. The storyline featured a girl that also knew how to play games for a change and I loved that. The narator, especially the man, made Zane sound sexy as hell.

I loved it enough to leave a review. That hardly ever happens.
