Historia
In When McKinsey Comes to Town, two prizewinning investigative journalists have written a portrait of the company sharply at odds with its public image. Bogdanich and Forsythe have penetrated the veil of secrecy surrounding McKinsey by conducting hundreds of interviews, obtaining tens of thousands of revelatory documents, and following rule #1 of investigative reporting: Follow the money. When McKinsey Comes to Town is a a devastating portrait of a firm whose work has often made the world more unequal, more corrupt, and more dangerous.

Strong political bias from the author
Revisado: 12-08-23
There are some interesting details shared on this book. However, you can tell within the first two chapter that the author is not objective and it almost sounds like a Democratic Party convention. It’s a shame because the story could have been very interesting, but he clearly has a different agenda.

Historia
Rand Fishkin, the founder and former CEO of Moz, reveals how traditional Silicon Valley "wisdom" leads far too many startups astray, with the transparency and humor that his hundreds of thousands of blog readers have come to love. Everyone knows how a startup story is supposed to go: A young, brilliant entrepreneur has a cool idea, drops out of college, defies the doubters, overcomes all odds, makes billions, and becomes the envy of the technology world. This is not that story. It's not that things went badly for Rand Fishkin; they just weren't quite so Zuckerberg-esque.

Too much “diversity” talk, little substance
Revisado: 08-13-20
Half of the book is spent narrating on how “open-minded” Rand is, and how much he values diversity. He also quotes fake data to prove his point. The beginning of the book is actually interesting, but half-way through I wanted to stop it. Too many cliches.

Useless book full of cliches
Revisado: 06-26-20
I was extremely disappointed by this book. It looks like an intro guide for basic marketing written for 12 year olds. Don’t waste your money and time.
