I don't think it's going to happen, i mean the moment of engagement. So there is this guy, the understudy, who is an underdog. We observe the story from his point of view. But you can understand why he will always be an underdog because of his character. I should at least feel a spark of something but I don't. I gave up on him. The miracle has to happen without me.

The philosophical question wrapped in a story

I liked the simple story that opened me to the question ‘who am I?’ I also enjoyed the betrayal part where the concept of ‘who am I’ changes. All in all, the storyline was a bit simple but entertaining.

Who am I kidding, I was never @ camp. But I loved the squeaky kids the serious Sue and IGOR. and the STORY. Yes there is a lot of enthusiasm @ camp. I really liked the camp, felt like going there. Being there. And I hate camps.
So good job.

So touching so alive

Max Roll is the perfect person to read this story about hardship, love, and life of a family in Africa after having escaped Germany from the Nazis. He brings all the characters from this book to life. In the end you will love the whole family, even the high maintenance mother.

For me this is one of those books which makes you want to read more, Make you look for another jewel.

Surprsingly refreshing not very deep though

Some voice actors sounds suuuper fiscial. But that's their role. They are very likeable and funny and believable. It's a light comedy with nice good sound quality music here and there. Also superficial. Also meant to be obviously.

So there’s the story. Which is good but I love the interaction between the sisters and also this male female thing, the depth of it and the subtlety. The reading is also excellent.

The right voice for the story

I think this is as close as you can get to the mystic world of Tibet. I could imagine David Alexandra Neale would have a voice like that of the reader. Strong, goal minded, not too female.
