Historia
Present moment awareness is an essential ingredient in life if one expects to experience any degree of authentic peace and contentment. It has been acknowledged for centuries as the cornerstone of spiritual awakening in all traditions of Eastern thought. In the West, however, it is still a relatively unrecognized concept for living. The Western mind is always restless, never content with the moment.

stick to the present
Revisado: 03-21-15
This audio book presents the idea of keeping at the moment and not worrying about the future. you can reduce stress with you just do the task, without thinking about time you need to deliver it .
I liked a particular part of the book where the author tells a history of a piano factory in Japan, where the worker make few parts per day and there is no target to accomplish.
sometimes its hard to apply these ideas in our day by day. we got deadlines for everything. however its good to know how to manage things to do and then avoid stress.
the audio was pretty well recorded too

great book to go trough hard moments in life
Revisado: 02-05-15
I heard his book just when I was struggling with my job and the lack of time to perform all tasks. I've learnt that every body has hard times and you are not the only one in troubles. you gotta face challenges as opportunities and extract the best from a new challenging experience.
there are some thing in life which doesn't depends on you, and so you shall live without wondering how things are going to end or even if you cannot complete something. you gotta accept sometimes the break even and try to not hold down the things.
also one go example I liked on the audiobook was when the author describes a situation where a CEO enters the room, in a a meeting and tells everybody that the project has failed miserably, but it has not even started. This passage made me think differently and prepare for the bad times, at least mentally, and be ready for the questions, argues, opposite, in order to have all set, from all point of views.
I enjoyed the way the chapters are splitted so the understanding gets much better.

"No" is sometimes the hardest word to say. It's also the most necessary. How many times have you heard yourself saying yes to the wrong things - overwhelming requests, bad relationships, time-consuming obligations? How often have you wished you could summon the power to turn them down? This program will help you take back your power by showing that a well-placed "No" can not only save you time and trouble, it can save your life.

lack of more direct situations where u say no
Revisado: 01-18-15
the both authors speak at once and in controlled manner. so the audiobook is quite fine yo hear.
I expected more direct explanations and situations where u can say no or yes. however the author let it wide.
some guidance about yoga comes on the book and I think it is suitable to the context.
however I think the book is overall good.

Historia
Dish up the red meat, eggs, and whole milk! In this well-researched and captivating narrative, veteran food writer Nina Teicholz proves how everything we've been told about fat is wrong. For decades, Americans have cut back on red meat and dairy products full of "bad" saturated fats. We obediently complied with nutritional guidelines to eat "heart healthy" fats found in olive oil, fish, and nuts, and followed a Mediterranean diet heavy on fruits, vegetables, and grains. Yet the nation's health has declined. What is going on?

Simples action like call right now to someone you think might have the answer you need. Without thinking you just act. Don't think just act. This is mainstream. I've applied it on my dayli basis, and at my work, and it has just helped me a lot. Don't be scare to act.
Which character – as performed by Grant Cardone – was your favorite?
Grant Cardone tells his whole book in a meaniful way. Such impact.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It does show us on the face what are the steps and actions we are missing, cause of fear, or lack of initative, even if we are not prepare to situations. Think enourmos, and big is a quite difference.
Any additional comments?
I do recommend this book, since the content is really good and provides impact on your life, and way to act to achieve what we want and also cause Cardone know how to tells it perfectly. I even recommend more the Audibook than the written book, due to this Cardone way of speaking and some personal additional comments that he does during the storytelling.
