Little annoying to switch eras and people so much but still good.
Revisado: 06-11-23
A couple of errors in the audio file but nothing major. The last 15 min has a jarring one where it skips to a different part of the story and back maybe 10 seconds later so you lose what was said. All in all I enjoyed it and will continue the series.

Decent story but that’s it
Revisado: 05-05-23
So first off let me start by saying I can’t do better in any way. Without spoilers, the story isn’t bad but the juvenile writing and lackluster narration are both bad. The author seems to like throwing profanity in randomly, making them sound like they are coming from a child, almost like the author just learned it. I have no issue with profanity as a whole but stringing 2 curse words together doesn’t always make the statement more impactful. Also there are MANY issues with following previously stated info. An example is the ‘induce aggression’ skill, it goes from 1 mana per 2 sec to 2 mana per 1 sec and back. Quite a few skills do this throughout the series. Same with some of the quests in the series, info changes from one point to another and it’s jarring. The narrator is a tough one, I can’t make multiple voices so I can’t do better but if this is your job this performance is lacking to say the least. Overall the story is fine but so many mistakes from the author hurt the overall and with a poor narration it doesn’t tie it in very well.

Worse each book
Revisado: 12-29-22
Apparently this isn’t a new issue but the grammar is awful. The narrator is also awful, mispronouncing words almost every sentence and switching back and forth with voices. Very poorly done.

Same as last one

Same narrator as the last book and he’s still making too many mistakes and they are being left in. Pronunciation is a problem.

Historia
When an accident claims his life, Gareth finds himself reborn on Acamida. Dropped into a world where sorcerers draw magical power from a deck of cards, summoning monsters and flinging spells, Gareth must adapt to having arcane power at his fingertips. It’s just a shame he’s found himself with the weakest cards around - goblins!

Producers didn’t pay attention
Revisado: 12-08-22
There were many and I mean many mispronounced words and switching of names, numbers and just felt like narrator was skipping around the page in places. Not good.

Only 1 complaint
Revisado: 08-09-22
That complaint is that some parts of the audio are clipped together, seemingly cutting off words or whole sentences as if the reader skipped a line. I have listened to a lot of audiobooks and this is the first time I have heard this. Story and performance were good but lackluster polish. Still would recommend to anyone interested in similar storylines.

Revisado: 02-08-22
Got hooked on this series and finished it in a few days. Can’t wait til the next one comes out. Still has the same minor issue as the first on audible where some words are cut short but it’s minor. Hope there are a lot of books planned for this series, they are just so short and fly by.

Minor complaint
Revisado: 02-07-22
My only complaint is that every once in a while a word is cut off, or the end of the word anyway. Don’t know if it’s from audible or a formatting issue or what it could be. Just a little annoying but still enjoyed the story. Will be starting the second book soon.
