Wonderful sequel!!!!

I find some of Stephen King's books to be tiresome of late. This is not one of those. This is the story of Dan Torrance after The Shining. There was no disappointment. I was enthralled by "the shining," Abra, and the evil characters in the book. The narration was wonderful. We walk through the years with Dan as he deals with life after the loss of his father. He has to come to grips with who he is in time so he can help a little girl named Abra deal with the dangerous people coming to find her.

A must read (or listen-to).

The Handmaid's Tale was a lot different then I thought it would be. I saw some negative reviews about how the book was to read mostly concerning the style it was written. I guess I lucked out here. The narrator was amazing. I felt like I was there in her head the whole time. This dystopian novel sets a surreal setting of a future where men take their power to a whole new level. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it!

A story of life, loss, and love

I just finished listening to this story and have to say first of the flurry of emotions that pounded me through this novel. Mariam and Laila are the two points of view in this story. They are women growing up and living in Afghanistan through the heartaches from war, the mistreatment by their husband, and their roles as women living in Afghanistan. I felt for these women through every step of the story.

This powerful narrative brought alive the fears, joy, and struggles these women had in their lives. I would recommend this story to anyone.

Dr. Creasy brings the Bible to life!!!

It was an amazing and enlightening series of lectures about Genesis. Dr. Creasy brings the characters and events to life through geography and history. He takes an in depth approach to the Bible using factual historical events and geographical locations of each section in the Bible. It becomes easier to picture each story as an actual event rather than 'just a story' in the Bible.

He is amusing and keeps most of the lectures light and 'real.' There is nothing boring or droning about these lectures. He speaks clearly and makes these lessons understandable to anyone listening.

A must buy for anyone interested in understanding the Bible and applying it to life now.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

This is a story about a man, Nate, who is going to commit suicide due to only having a short while left to live. During his suicide attempt a bank robbery occurs right inside the window. Nate climbs in the window and saves the day... almost. What ensues is the cat and mouse game where Nate is battling with inner demons and real terrors threatening his family. This story made me laugh, cry, and cling to the next part of the story. What a roller coaster ride this was. Recommended to anyone wanting a good thrill ride.

This story was a fun ride! I really enjoyed the characters and the plot. The story is very science fiction. There is not much to say without ruining the plot. Enjoy. :D

Wow....just wow.

I could not stop listening to this story. I carried my phone around with me to keep listening to see what would happen next. Scott Brick delivers a wonderful performance. The story is one twist after another. Why four stars? The ending. The epilogue. It was too easy. I really like this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys nail-biting suspense.

I did get annoyed with the main character for continuing in the quest even though he kept getting beat up and putting other's lives in danger. He was very selfish with his love and determination for Natalie. It got a bit annoying but, without it there would be no story from half-way through the book.

Not my favorite Harlan Coben story but I will continue to read/listen to his stuff because he is a great story teller.

Amazing story!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, This is an amazing story about life in the mid 1900's for a family in Australia. I was captivated by the story and the narrator. He did a wonderful job portraying the characters in the novel.

Which character – as performed by Humphrey Bower – was your favorite?

Mole, Bozo, and Sarah. I could feel the struggles of each of the characters.

Any additional comments?

The story did drag along at some points but not enough for me to regret one minute of listening. I cannot wait to read and listen to another book by this author and narrator.

Buck. I enjoy his passion

Have you listened to any of Richard Ferrone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am so glad that Richard Ferrone is a narrator because the original narrator made the story almost impossible to listen to.

Any additional comments?

I am glad that I am listening to the book and not reading it because I feel I would not have read much of the series. The grammatical errors come through even in the audio book but do not bother me as much because I do not have to read them.

A wonderful story!!

This was the conclusion to a wonderful story. I was captivated from the beginning especially with the narration. I got to know each of the characters and came to care for each of them. I am sorry to see the story end because I enjoyed it so much, but I am also glad to see that Michael Sullivan did not try to keep the story going unnecessarily just to sell more books like some authors do (no names).
